Excel Introduction
- To start Excel, create a shortcut on your desktop. Go to [Start] then [Search]. Choose [files or folders] then type "excel.exe" in the search window an click [Search Now]. When Excel shows up on the left, right click and choose [Create Shortcut] click [Yes] to put the shortcut on your desktop.
- Open a blank Excel worksheet.
- Save it to your P: drive as p#_username_excelintro
- Type the data from the following image into the worksheet, exactly as it appears. Excel Image.
- Be sure to Bold column B (student names) and Row 2 (quizzes)
- After copying the data, enter the formula =average(C3:G3)
- The resulting answer should be 92
- Repeat this formula in Column H all the way down to Row 24.
- Save and close your work.
