| Another shot from the back of the Pune apartment. The picture shows another typical house found in India. Above the door is writing in Hindi. This is their because in India almost all houses are given names and this is written somewhere on the house or on the gate to the house. Gates are found surrounding virtually every house because of security reasons. Of course houses are a privelage that only the top elite class (economic) can enjoy. This is because of the poverty in India which is a major problem. "The rich stay rich and the poor stay poor" is fairly accurate in this country. Although, communities are often friendly and the history is rich, the way of life for millions can be a struggle everyday. | ||||
