Mooha MooV's
Fiddler On The Roof - Set in 1905, this movie/play centers around Tevye, a poor dairyman who is trying to conserve tradition in his everchanging Jewish town Anatevka in Russia and in his life.
Out Of Africa-  Sydney Pollack's 1985 multiple-Oscar winning film is an emotionally satisfying film about the life of Danish writer Karen Blixen who travels to Kenya to be with her German husband but falls for an English adventurer instead.  The cinematography in this movie is gorgeous...in fact my background is from a scene in the movie.  You like?
Breakfast At Tiffany's
- It's the 1961 story of a woman on her own making her way through the big city and a budding romance.  Gotta love Audrey!  Classic.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off- A popular highschooler fakes sick from school, as the master he is, and has one wild, crazy day dodging his parents, falling in love, and escaping his vengeful principal out to get his tail.
Grease- Beautiful Australian Sandy reunites with her stud summer fling, Danny Zuko,  when she moves into town permanently.  But to what lengths does a girl have to go to be with her man?  It's a great musical.
Legally Blonde- Rich, blonde, sorority president Elle Woods heads off to Harvard Law to retrieve her boyfriend Warner but gets much more instead.  Very cute.
Meet The Parents- Greg Faulker, after a non existant proposal, decides to try and charm his honeybun Pam's parents for her hand.  Too bad Pam's dad was in the CIA and everything goes wrong for Greg....one of my personal favs!  Love the Smorgasbord scene!
The Little Princess- Childhood movie I liked.  I always cried near the end.  I think it was about a little girl who stays at a boarding school while her father goes to war (her mother died).  She dreams of India, her old home, and doesn't like stuffy New York.  When she receives news her father has disappeared, the evil boarding lady makes her work as a servant with Becky the black maid...this movie has the ability to make me crrry like a baby.  *sniffs*
The Secret Garden-  Bratty and spoiled Mary Lennox is orphaned when her parents become victims of the cholera outbreak in India (this is written by the same author as The Little Princess).  Mary becomes the ward of an uncle in England that she has never met.  She befriends a boy named Dickon and finds a secret garden.  (I thought Dickon was hot when I was little, he was in Black Beauty too but I hated that because the horse died yo).  She also discovers her uncle's son Colin who is sickly.  Together, she and Dickon help Colin blossom and his father's heart melt.  I really like this movie.
Princess Diaries- Mia Thermopolis, geeky metropolis girl, finds out that her grandmother is the queen of Genovia, a small country, and she is a princess.  How will she deal with all the new found publicity and the guy of her dreams finally noticing her?
Shrek- Ugly ogre Shrek searches for the beautiful princess that is pledged to the new King, in order to keep his swamp land to himself.  Little does he know that beauty is only in the eye of the beholder...(does that make sense?)
Pirates of the Caribbean- It was the hit of the summer.  You should've seen it and you should know it's plot.
Bringing Down The House-  Martin, an uptight lawyer who doesn't have time for his kids, starts an internet relationship with a woman named Charlene that he thinks is a lawyer also.  Instead, she turns out to be an escaped convict that didn't commit the crime and wants some help, and persuades him by threatening to mess up his business deal with a wealthy but arch-conservative client.  She poses as the childrens' "nanny" and they love her.  She also brings out a looser side of Peter, who is still in love with his wife.  I loved Eugene Levy as Peter's friend in this.  He was soo funny.  "You got me straight trippin' boo."
It's A Beautiful Life-  Christmas movie.  Makes me feel warm and wintery inside.
Holes-  Stanley Yelnats (Shia LaBeouf!!) gets caught with famous shoes and is sent to a disciplinary camp to dig holes though actually the people running it are just making the kids dig for treasure so they can get filthy rich.
Freaky Friday- Mother and daughter switch places.  Cute.
Chicago- Roxie Hart gets arrested for murdering the person she was having an affair with.  While in jail, she sees the beautiful Velma who is a starlet.  She dreams of fame and how to acheive it with the publicity she receives on her case.
Camille-  Poor girl comes under the care of a rich man and catches the eye of a dashing rich young man.  They fall in love and plan marriage but are foiled but the boy's father who wants him to marry better.  Camille unfortunately has tuburculosis.
Signs- Crop circles start appearing in an ex-priest's corn fields and all over the world.  And then the aliens come...
Lilo & Stitch- Stitch, an alien creature, is exiled to Earth where he finds the meaning of family after being adopted at the pound by Lilo, a little Hawaiian girl.  His creators are out to catch and kill him though.  Say Aloha Stitch!
Lord of the Rings I and II-  Well duh.  Go read the book.   :D
Elf-  Will Ferrell, "Buddy," is a human elf who goes in search of his father when he grows too big for the North Pole.  Hehehe.
Bend It Like Beckham-  A Sikh girl named Jess wants to follow her "football" dreams despite her family's differing views.  Very cute, and funny if you enjoy British humor...or just humor, that is.  That guy is HOT.
That's all, folks!
