'Your strings are mine' started to form in my head when I was rewatching the Lost Boys from the screen and got to the scene where Michael almost attacks Sam. I began imagining how things had gone if Michael had just killed Nanook and then his brother. He'd become a true vampire and a part of the gang. This brilliant turn of events wouldn't any later regret, because vampires rarely experience it. Its a requirement for their species or otherwise they could not continue killing. All humans surely aren't corrupted. Plus I'd had similar thoughts about an Evil!Michael before, but they'd all been clumsy.

Lets talk about the immense chemistry between Michael and David. David is brilliant and he gets me wanting slash by just saying Michael's name. Also he shares a different relationship with Michael than anyone else. They are rivals, which is one of the most used relationship type when it comes to slash, but what I keep seeing is that David doesn't see them as rivals, Michael does. Conclusion: Micheal is in denial and David wants him.

I think of the reasons why I began writing this fic is that it just began spitting fire at me immediately. I've never done slash before and I'm always open to new things, but I rarely get such inspiration. I wrote the first two chapters within a week and stood up the first night just planning stuff. Mwahahhahaahha... I dunno quite where this is going yet, but its gonna be angsty slash. Evilness. Spank me.
