Sins Unattached began as a Spike/Forsaken fic with slight naughtyness and worn jokes. At that time I needed such. Later on however I began to think and attached the tAS fic in my head to the Korrupt World fandom where a character based on Forsaken didn't exist. It was when BS wrote her standalones about the KW kids and included a character named Foxtrot that I began thinking and snatched that identity to the troubled insomniac in Sins. Spike became William, a vampire of no remorse and long age.

I took my models from American Gothic and the seduction between Gail Emory and Lucas Buck. I'm not hiding it, because my writing got darker after I rewatched the AG eps. Now the story is at its darkest. The vampire is the only one who sees her and he uses that. He digs into her flesh and fools her love, making her need him. She loves her "brother" Lionheart, the transgenic she grew up with, but Lionheart is gone and Foxtrot is still blamed for being Turbulen's pet.

Sins is a nightmare you can't wake up from. A seduction and a near-death experience. Ever heard HIM's "Resurrection"? There's no better way of saying it:

There was a time when I could breath my life in you
One by one your pale fingers started to move
And I touched your face and all life was erased
You smiled like an angel (falling from grace)

We've been slaves to this love from the moment we touched
And keep begging for more of this resurrection
