the heritage series

Originally written to be a standalone that introduces the latest tAS kid: Tyler Brady the Bloody, Forsaken and Spike's son, Chapters of another life grew into a collection of standalones centering around the young angsty dunpeal. The first standalone had Evie, BS and Zack's daughter, meet Tyler at the Party Thread's swimming pool. Too bad I later realized that Evie is indeed blind. Kinda embarrased now.

Anyways, I fell for the boychild from my imagination so hard that I wanted to write more about him. The next standalone described Tyler's fear for her mortal mother's life and gave a peek into the mother-son relationship they have. I also intend to write some more of these standalones with Tyler's heartaches with his crush Lamia and his struggle to pierce time so that his younger sister Shirley Audra the Bloody will come to existence.

Angst and loneliness might be the strongest themes here though I try and lighten things up with my dark humour. I guess Tyler is just my shonen guy, too fucking unbelievably beautiful and gloomy and graceful to ever exist.
