a devil may cry

A Devil May Cry is a fic I decided to do after all my writing had suddenly become either R or NC-17. I needed to write something less violent and less smutty. This is the result, a dream-like visit to Robin's world after she begins to truly understand the Ultimate Craft in her possession.

I developed a different kind of plot for the romance of Amon and Robin after deciding that he needed to be cold towards her at first, to smother her so that I could finally draw some character into Robin's quiet figure. The language was poetic as a remaining from writing the Witch, which was my first attempt to really do what ever I wanted. Also I was inspired by my friend Kitty's poetry she'd published in tAS and that made me want to write with more riddles and shorter chapters.

This fic got great reception back in ff.net and this piqued me to write it quickly even though I was kinda worried I'd portray Robin and Amon the wrong way. I got into this whole "through the Ultimate Craft the world is a painting in the making" and did some of the battles this way. I also put my effort in using new volcalbury and such. Time'll show what'll come of this very apocalyptic and preaching ficlet that uses strong words like "destiny" a lot.
