multipairing [Queen of the Damned / The Alternative Space]Storm Crows, Syrai's personal favourite, is something I came up with when we were spending the night at her house. I was wondering if I oughtta write a fic that had her and me as baddies, vampires, because I just love vampires. Syr took my idea and began stalking me to force me to write it. So I did. I read Anne Rice's "Queen of the Damned" and fit its story to a be told with a bunch of new characters.
In time SC grew into an epic (once more). Its violence was lots as well as the evil hinting and corruption. I lifted the rating and said goodbye to all HR-tardemarks making it into real fiction. I forgot that the characters were based on real people. SC is turning slashy as we speak. There are too many pairings to name and original characters are stealing the show from Anne Rice's brilliant lil pale people.
'The Two', ancients Syrai and Forsaken, are the core of the story. Their love and hate and life is entangled with everything. Forsaken's malice for her form as a vampire was tainted even before she was given a second life. Syrai's furstration and lust for life forms an eternal quest of more and more. Benjamin, Khayman, Abaddon, Jamie, Nameless and countless other men surrounding them form a dilemma. The Queen wants to tame her children as well. Hell, SC is twisted beyond belief. No wonder R suits it better.
