Hard hitting music from Long Island, NY. Formerly The Prizefighter. Guilt Like Gravity is currently putting the finishing touches on an EP, and it should be released some time mid May. May 1st starts the launch of three of the songs that will be on the new EP for you to download or stream before its release. The guys in Guilt Like Gravity are no strangers to the stage. Having showcased as The Prizefighter with bands such as Boy Sets Fire, Taking Back Sunday, Ultimate Fakebook, Alexisonfire, Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, Brand New, Senses Fail, The Early November, Mae, Copeland, Watashi Wa, A Static Lullaby, The Hope Conspiracy, Elliott, Unearth, Vaux, Nora, Bayside and so many more, they proved early that they were able to play to almost any crowd. No matter if they were playing to 20 close friends, or 2,000 complete strangers, they played with a 'kick you in the face' expression of the energy and intensity they represented, impressing crowds all over, and leaving them with something melodic and edgy, calm and chaotic. They took this formula all over the country, touring with such bands as From Autumn to Ashes (vagrant), Every Time I Die (ferret), From First to Last (epitaph) and The Sleeping (one day savior). They even managed to play a handful of Warped Tour dates last year. And as Guilt Like Gravity, they only plan to move forward, touring non-stop, and going wherever the music takes them. |
