The Laboratory Report: Use a bound notebook. You can type your work but then you need to glue the pages to the pages in the notebook. Produce tables of data with units and relevant information. The book should contain: Tiltle People in the lab group Date and Location of experiment Purpose of the experiment Equipment used Procedure (step by step) Error Analsyis Calculations Conclusion

Experiment I Length Measurament Purpose: To measure the length, width and depth of an object to determine its surface area and volume. Propagation of the error.

Experiment II Volume and Mass Measurament Purpose: To measure the volume of objects of different weight and same composition to observe the experimental linear relationship given by volume = density x mass. Finally to measure, from the slope of the linear graph, the particular value of the density and establish the nature of the material used in the experiment.

Experiment III Time Measurament: The Simple Pendulum Purpose: To measure the relationship between the period of a simple pendulum and the length of the pendulum. Verify that the weight is not influential in the period-length relationship. Calculate the value of g from a log-log plot of length versus period, for various lengths and periods.
