Nadesiko Kinomoto

Sakura's mother, Nadesiko, died when Sakura was very young. She married Fujitaka when she was only 16. Her family didn't approve and her best friend, Sonomi, was very upset because she didn't like Fujitaka at all. Since he was a teacher and Nadesiko was his student, Sonomi thought he was too old for her. Before she died, Nadesiko worked as a model. Even though she's no longer alive, her son, Touya, seems to be able to see her. In the french serie, Nadesiko's name is Nathalie Kinomoto.
