6/14/02 Hello Everyone! I went to the SG last night (I'm sure I saw some of you!) and let me tell you, they rocked! It was the best I've ever seen them. Romeo did drums, and they did 2 new songs, "Makes Sense" and "Mustache Rides Five Cents." It was a great show! I had a little bit too much tequila and puked after eating Denny's slim jim, but it was OK. Can't wait to see them in the parade!

5/28/02 Crystal here! I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend. I know I sure did. I got to hang out with Shitting Glitter yesterday!!! We had a blast at Jendra & Denny's BBQ. We got funky while dancing to the Strapping Remix (you can hear it on their MP3.com page) which has been getting tons of rave reviews! Then Kaydee and I performed Ebony and Ivory. Luckily, Kendra didn't bother to show up. Also, the band played "Luscious Mag" and "Backdoor Jesus" which the crowd really enjoyed. Later, Jendra and Amy sang Karaoke at the Palms, where the Strapping remix was played by the DJ afterwards. In addition to the Palms, the song has now also been played at Gold 9, and the Holiday Inn in San Francisco, where the band stayed last Saturday night. The band will have a private meeting tomorrow to discuss the video for "Hero" and other plans. I can't wait to see all of you at the Joint, June 13th at 11pm! Love, Crystal.

5/16/02 Hi. My name is Crystal, and I am the new webmaster here at the unofficial Shitting Glitter web page. As many of you may know, I personally know the band and even got to dance during their show, "Kendra's Saturday Night Varieties" which was at Jox in North Hollywood back in February. Actually, Kendra is my ex-girlfriend, and I had a starring role in her movie, "Kendra's Friday Night Varieties." Anyway, SG is my fave band so I am running this website dedicated to them. Here is the latest news: They will be playing at The Joint, 8771 Pico Blvd. in LA on June 13th at 11pm. Also, they will begin recording their debut CD, Post No Bills, next month. Brandon Strecker is the producer, he is from Kansas City. Also, Saturday night (May 18) the dance remix of "Strapping" will be featured at Pure Insanity at the Club Orion in downtown Los Angeles.

NEWS 3/16/02 - Crenshaw and Zaac have left the band in order to focus on their own project. The duo will release their own rap/metal album this winter. Meanwhile, the rest of Shitting Glitter proceed to work on their debut album, Post No Bills, and will be giging around the LA area.

NEWS 2/11/02 Shitting Glitter is proud to introduce it's newest member/new lead singer, Crenshaw Banks. Crenshaw has been added to the group at the request of the fans to obtain a "more street/urban R&B sound." An official statement from the band reads "We want to make our fans happy. We feel we have been trying to prove our credibility in the hip hop community to no avail. Crenshaw will help us acheive our goal of topping the R&B charts." Banks, formerly of the group Destinys Child, said "Yo, I just wanna get paid." In addition to taking over lead vocals, Banks will also be running this web site, and serving as the group's manager/producer/CEO.

NEWS 1/8/02 Honey, don't stop this speeding train before it reaches it's destination (oh no, oh no!) Three Big things for you all: 1- We went to the studio today to remix Goddess Room one last time. That was holding up the release of the CD (now titled "HOT ROD") but now that is taken care of, which brings us to 2- The release is now scheduled for the first weekend of February, complete with a release party and a live performance. Lastly, #3, the first studio rehearsal with Zaac went tremendously. We (for the most part) made it through Hero, Strapping, Goddess Room, Ariana, Post No Bills, Short Haired Girls Club, Backdoor Jesus, Makes Sense, and even worked on a new one, Mechanically Separtated Chicken. NEWS 1/5/02 Shitting Glitter will have a studio rehearsal Monday in Van Nuys. The band is gearing up for their CD Release (rumor alert: The Release Party may take place @ J.O.X. Shhh, don't tell!!!) and the Burbank Blvd. tour. Meanwhile, we can't get the smell of deep fried fish scales out of our wigs since the San Francisco/Reno/Lake Tahoe New Year's Trip. Thanks, Benwa....
NEWS 12/23 BIG NEWS Shitting Glitter will begin rehearsing with new guitarist, ZAAC DAMON. All we need now is a drummer and a contract.

NEWS 12/12 Final mixing was completed on Hero and Goddess Room today. The band will go in the studio tomorrow to finish Strapping. The CD, "Step Into The Goddess Room" will contain all three tracks and will be released in early January. The band will then produce four more songs, Grady, Short Haired Girls Club, Backdoor Jesus, and Post No Bills, independently.
News 12/11 JOX ROX... Shitting Glitter played to a full house at JOX's 20th Anniversary last Saturday. The band rocked out on Strapping, Hero, Ariana, and Goddess Room. The band was joined onstage by former member, Billy, and their sound was excellent thanks to Jaye and Tiko. Future Bassist Denny Ready filmed the event for use in the upcoming Shitting Glitter movie. Devin was in SHOCK AFTER the concert was over at how well it went. Amy and Yvonne set up a Mechanically Separated Chicken taste test behind the bar and found that 4 out of 5 Jox goers prefer the sludgy chicken substance in Slim Jims over Vienna Sausage. The band would like to thank John @ JOX for believing in us enough to put us on stage on a night other than Karaoke Wednesdays. We hope the JOX gig will just be the first as we begin our era of giggin' the boulevard (Not Sunset, not Santa Monica, but Burbank) We also want to thank the super fans DENNY, JEN, KRISPY, BENWA, LUCY, JAMES, ERIC, KEN & RAYMOND, BAILEY & MIRIAM, and everyone else who came out to hear us.
NEWS: 12/6 Today and yesterday were spent recording the keyboards and vocals for the demo. Final tracking and mixing will take place next Wednesday, 12/12, at QP Sound. Rehearsals take place tonight and Saturday afternoon for the JOX gig on Saturday. Remember, it's 10PM at J-O-X Jox on Burbank and Denny in North Hollywood, just a few blocks East of Vineland. 12/1 Shitting Glitter spent the day at QP Sound in North Hollywood recording the demo. <CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS!> Co-produced by Mary White and Shitting Glitter, the demo contains the songs "Goddess Room," "Hero," and "Strapping." The band was joined in the studio by former bandmates Billy & Roman who laid the guitar and drum tracks respectively. Recording resumes Wednesday with mixing to be done on Thursday. The band will then rehearse Friday for the JOX gig on Saturday! See you bitches there.
11/20 Shitting Glitter met with producers today to discuss the recording of their demo, tentatively titled Step into the Goddess Room. The band is in the process of choosing 3-4 songs for the EP, which they expect to release before the end of the year. Studio rehearsals and recording begin following the holiday weekend.
