So, what is Planetarion? is it good enough to grace the Shitstate pages? well the answer is YES.
Planetarion is a stratagy game that is played by some 170,000 people online
24 hours a day, 7 days a week!. The idea is to take the planet that you start
off life with and develop it, building facilities and researching weapons of destruction
like warfriggets that soar the solar waves of the internet to do battle with some opponant who
you don't even know.
Before you know it the person you don't know has got his freinds to attack your planet, so
you get your freinds and defend and retaliate back and forth for weeks, just hitting each
alliance or galaxy as hard as you can.
Basicly Planetarion is just a gentelmens game played by savages and induces
war between people you don't know!, just as well or the Worlds population would be
dropping pretty fast.
Me and my shitstate helper have been playing planetarion for just over 5 months, I started first, but he soon followed, enticed by the amaizingly put together site (not as good as the shitstate pages!).
For those who do not frequent the internet so often i'll inform you on how the game is constantly played.
Planetarion is based on a computer known as a server. This machine stays online and constantly uploads information
to the internet. This example also applies to E-mail sites, so you can access your E-mails
at any time and just like the shitstate pages!, my computer is not online all of the time, but the files are stored
on the Geocities servers.
This ability makes this kind of online gaming unparalled, even by the likes of Half-Life or Quake (well not quite).
But it is an ongoing game not just a quick death match.
