| Hello and welcome on my first web page of my Bertrand ancestors. I've decided to create this site to facilitate the access to genealogical data. Here you will find the transcripts of the original documents. The reference of each one is given in the transcript. If the entries aren't complete, lets say only the name of a city or place is mentionned, it's because they haven't been checked yet. All the informations have been compiled by me, from different sources like Internet, PRDH, La Masculine - La Féminine de l'Institut Drouin, etc. With these, I created the family tree of Jean Bertrand married to Marie Charlotte Brare September 23rd 1697 in the Parish of Notre-Dame de Montréal, Québec, Canada. I want to mention that I've standardized names when writing them down : ex. Madeleine for Magdeleine, Madelaine, Magdelaine, etc. Also, I've maintained seperated the first names because not all of them were used in the registries, which also makes it easier to find someone.
