Episode 20: Akirabon's Conquest"

Episode 20: Akirabon's Conquest
(It is a dark and lonely night. A figure walks by itself in the dark, moving at no speed to go anywhere. Soon a car appears and stops by the figure. A female b-da person opens the car door and says.)
Girl: Hi there. It's a cold night and I figured that you might need a ride walking out here by yourself.
(The figure just nods.)
Girl: Hop in then.
(The figure does so and they ride off. Not long later the mysterious figure motions to get out.)
Girl: This is it eh? Well okay
(She lets the figure out.)
Girl: Need anything else?
(Then without warning the figure suddenly lunges for her b-da, sucking the energy out. Before she can scream or react she is completely drained. The figure lets out a low guttural chuckle and continues to walk. Meanwhile the b-da fighting forces are having a "Happy Defeat of Brown" party.)
Aka: Well Akirabon that was an impressive battle you had.
Akira (With pride): I know.
Ao: It's getting pretty dark out. I think you might want to get home.
Akira: Sure.
Dr.Grey: Maybe you and Shirobon should walk together so you have some kind of chaperone.
(Shiro is asleep in a corner with Kazemaru, with a very full stomach and a party hat on.)
Aka: Someone had too much to eat.
Akira: I'm not scared. I can walk home myself.
(Akira begins to leave.)
Ao: You sure?
Akira: Sure I'm sure.
(He exits, and then Aka, Ao, and Dr.Grey look at each other. Akira is walking triumphantly home, and is humming the theme to this fanfic. Meanwhile the figure from earlier is enjoying another meal on a poor b-da guy on his way home from working late. The figure finishes taking his energy, and this is when Akira walks in.)
Akira: Um whats going on here?
(The figure looks at Akira and lunges at him.)
Akira: AUGH!
(He dodges out of the way, and fires a b-da at his assailant.)
Akira: Take that!
(The figure simply EATS the shot.)
Akira: What the?!
(Then the figure tries to grab him but he manges to spring out of the way...into a street lamp. This force of the blow to his head knocks him out. Then the figure prepares to feed off of him when Aka, & Ao appear.)
Aka: That's as far as you go!
Ao: Yeah! Leave him alone!
(The figure looks at them and smiles evilly. Then Aka and Ao run at it... The next morning, Akira wakes up with a large headache.)
Akira: Ohh. I feel awful.
(He notices Shiro sitting beside his bed.)
Akira: Shirobon?
Shiro: Hey kiddo. You okay?
Akira: Sure. My head majorly hurts but that's about it.
(Then Akira's mom and sister appear.)
Melody: Is he okay?
Shiro: Looks like it.
Akira's mom: I was so worried! What were you doing out so late?
Akira: Nothing really...
Shiro: You came out in better shape then Ao and Aka.
Akira: What?! Where are they?
(Shiro takes Akira to the H.Q. and he sees Aka and Ao knocked out on two beds.)
Akira: What happened?!
Shiro: I don't know, I happened to find them when I was walking home. I saw all of you lying there, and so I brought you back.
Dr.Grey: Akabon and Aobon seem to have lost their energy.
(He points to their pale b-da.)
Dr.Grey: There seem to be two incision marks on their b-da.
Shiro: Like teeth bites?
Akira: A VAMPIRE? (Begins to quiver.) I wanna go home...
Shiro: You okay? You looked scared stiff.
(Akira nods, but still begins to shake from head to toe.)
Shiro (To the Dr.): I'm gonna take him home. I should be back later.
Dr.Grey: All right.
(Shiro takes his friend outside to see Midori in funeral clothes and a black limo.)
Shiro: Ahh Midoribon, I don't think she's dead.
Midori: Really? YEAH!
Shiro: But she's not looking good.
(Midori sobers down and then the narrator b-da comes in and plays "Taps.")
Shiro: I'm going home now.
(He leaves and soon gets home. When Akira gets in he slowly walks up the stairs to his room.)
Melody: What's with him? Akirabon hasn't been this scared since he heard of cooties in the second grade.
Shiro: A vampire attacked him, Aobon, and Akabon. And I think it freaked him out.
Melody: Oh. Is there something we should do?
Shiro: I don't know.
(Later Shiro comes in with some groceries, and Akira's mom comes and greets him.)
Akira's mom: Did you run into any trouble?
Shiro: Nope, I couldn't if I tried. Everyone heard of the attacks and the town is shut up tighter than a tomb.
Akira's mom: Oh dear. This definitely isn't good. Is it?
Shiro: Nope. Has Akirabon come down stairs?
Akira's Mom: No. He's been so scared lately. He just sits in bed and doesn't move, it's affecting his appetite too.
Shiro: I know it's hard to believe, but he'll be fine soon enough.
Akira's mom: How do you know?
Shiro: I don't. Dr.Grey says that he has something that will lift him up though.
Akira's mom: Should I go get him?
Shiro: Nah. I have to go back to the lab, but I don't want him to get any more worked up by new stuff than he already is.
(Shiro heads out, and soon gets to the H.Q. where Dr.Grey is on the phone.)
Dr.Grey: When she's back up I'll let you know! Goodbye!
(He hangs up.)
Shiro: Who was that?
Dr.Grey: Who else other than that nut Midoribon. He seems to think I'm a miracle worker, and that I'll have Akabon back up in a heartbeat.
Shiro: Well he is paid pretty well to protect Akabon, but that's not the issue.
Did you find out, who or what that was?
Dr.Grey: After searching the net for awhile, I came up on some government websites that explain this guy.
Shiro: It's a b-daman?
Dr.Grey: Sit down. It's a long story.
(Dr.Grey and Shiro sit at a computer and Dr.Grey gets online and on to a government website.)
Shiro: Ooh high tech!
(They come to a list of military experiments and Dr.Grey clicks on one. Then a description pops up.)
Dr.Gray(Reading the description.): In this experiment, the idea of living off of b-da energy instead of food was administered.
Shiro: Yeah that's right. When people die, their b-da remains full with energy, unless the cause of death was b-da energy consumption.
Dr.Grey(Nods and continues to read.): The experiment was performed on a b-daman with the name of Hector. He was injected with b-da energy routinely, and was served no food to see the results.
Shiro: Was it successful?
Dr.Gray: Well...
(The phone rings, and Dr.Grey angrily picks it up and yells into the reciever.)
Dr.Grey: LEAVE ME ALONE!!! DON"T CALL ME I'LL CALL YOU!!
(He hangs up, and Shiro checks the caller id.)
Shiro: Dr.Grey that was a guy by the name of... Shinjibon.
(Dr.Grey sweat drops.)
Shiro: Um something wrong?
Dr.Grey: That was Ao's uncle calling to see if he's okay.
Shiro: oh. Bad huh?
Dr.Grey: I'll have to call him back.
Shiro: So was the experiment successful?
Dr.Grey: In a word yes and no. (Heads over to computer.) The guy managed to live off the energy instead of food, but then became addicted to the energy. Soon he started having cravings, and then he broke out of the compound in a search for more.
Shiro: And that's who sucked Aobon and Akabon dry.
Dr.Grey: Yes. I think you and Akirabon should head out there and stop him.
Shiro: I'll take the White Blose, but as for Akirabon, this whole thing has traumatized him.
Dr.Grey: Bring him here. I think once he sees what I have for him, he won't be so traumatized.
Shiro: I'll try.
(Shiro goes home, and talks to Akira's mom.)
Shiro: They want me to bring him in.
Akira's mom: I think you should. He used to be so happy..
Shiro: All right then.
(He goes upstairs to Akira's room.)
Shiro: Hey kiddo.
(Akira gets up to look at him, and once he sees him he smiles.)
Akira: Heya Shirobon.
Shiro: Dr.Grey says I should bring you in.
Akira: What...what if he's out there?
Shiro: I'll protect you.
Akira: But then you'll get hurt like Akabon and Aobon.
Shiro: It doesn't matter if more people get hurt. I don't care about that since you guys will be around to take my place if I fall out.
Akira: Shirobon you certainly sound brave..
Shiro: I am brave! And so are you!
Akira: I don't know about that...
Shiro: After all the stuff you've done, I think that you're almost as brave as me!
Akira: Really?
Shiro: I said ALMOST.
(Then the both of them laugh.)
Shiro: Whats so funny? I was serious!
Akira: Okay I'll go. Just for you.
Shiro: Good.
Akira: But if anything happens I want you to help me out.
Shiro: I will. And you too.
(They both go downstairs, and Akira's mom hugs her son happy to see that he's finally out of bed. Then the both of them go down to Dr.Grey's lab.)
Shiro: I got Akirabon with me now.
Dr.Grey: Welcome back.
Akira: Thank you, but what did you want me for?
Dr.Grey: Come with me.
(They head back into the hanger.)
Dr.Grey: I'm happy to present for the first time on this fanfic, first time anywhere for that matter..
(He presses a button and two large doors reveal reveling a robot.)
Akira: Wow!!
(He forgets how scared he was, and looks at the bot. It is green like the FDS, but is taller, since the b-da isn't in the center. The robot holds a sword and the b-da is implanted in it's other empty hand. The phoenix symbol is still in it's chest and the face looks like the white gale.)
Shiro: That is an impressive bot.
Dr.Grey: And it's name is Dragonblade!
Akira: Wow!! A new robot!!
Shiro: That's great! Now you can go help me search for that vampire like guy!
(Akira gets scared again.)
Akira: I...I don't think I'm up to that...
Shiro: Come on Akirabon! I'll be right beside you. If we don't find anything, then we'll come back.
Akira: Okay. I do want to pilot this thing.
(Soon the both of them are flying over the city. Down below is Hector, who is annoyed that everyone has locked themselves in their houses. Then he sees the white blose's huge b-da, and knows that dinner has at last arrived. Meanwhile Akira and Shiro land for a breather.)
Shiro: So how's the new bot?
Akira: It handles great!
(Shiro smiles, and then he sees someone running towards them.)
Akira: Who is that?!
Shiro: It's HIM!
(Akira cowers in fear, and Shiro prepares to fight, but then Hector disapears.)
Shiro: What the?
(Then he reappears on the white blose's b-da and begins to suck it dry.)
Shiro: HEY! Get off!
(Then he fires a shot a second too late. Hector has all of the energy. The white blose falls over brown and rusted, and now Hector is as tall as the robot and more menacing looking.)
Shiro: Aw nutz..
(Hector stomps over to the White blose to finish it off.)
Shiro: Akirabon! Do something!!
(Akira looks at his friend in trouble and feels that he has to do something, but his fear holds him aback. Then he thinks of Aka, and Ao who gave themselves up for him and now Shiro who is going to do the same.)
Akira: STOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPP!!!
(He takes the sword of the Dragonblade and pierces it right through the monster's chest, Hector lets out a roar and slumps over. Then a huge white light comes out of him and splits into dozens of little lights. The lights travel across the land and implant themselves in the b-da of the people that they came from, and suddenly at h.q. Ao gets up.)
Ao: What am I doing in bed?
(Aka revives too.)
Aka: what happened to us?
(Back on the battlefield the White blose is hit by a light and soon is standing upright again.)
Shiro(Sighs.): I almost thought you were gonna let me down there.
Akira: I did too, but then again. I thought about how much you guys would owe me if I did this.
Shiro: What ever floats your boat.
(The two of them stand in front of their bots and look down at b-da land where people are finally coming out of their house)
