Episode 10: Clouds On A Rainy Day"

Akira: Why are you guys following me?
Rei: Don't ask me, it was their idea.
Ken: Hey let us see your robot!
Shoizu: Yeah if you're our friend you'll let us see it.
Akira: Oh fine. If you really want to see it.
Ken: Told you he'd cave.
(Akira sweatdrops, and they follow him to the lab of Dr. Grey.)
Dr. Grey: Umm what's with the rugrat convention?
Akira: They want to see the bot.
Dr. Grey: I guess that's okay. All to stimulate some interest in b-da science in you kids!
Ken: Whatever. Just get to the robots!
(They head down to the hold and the Flying Dragon slayer sits dormant.)
Rei: Wow! Akirabon was telling the truth!
Ken: Yeah he was!
Shoizu: Enough talking! More worshipping!
(They clamor all over the robot.)
Melody: They sure are happy eh?
Shoizu: Hey Akira let us fly this thing!
Akira: Umm now that I don't know about...
Ken: Come on! Give us one good reason why not!
Akira(Thinking): Ah...cause its...(Looks out the window) It's snowing too hard.
Rei: Oh come on...(Then she looks too.) It is snowing!
(Outside there is a mini blizzard.)
Ken: Aw man it's gonna be hard to get home through that...
Shoizu: We'd better go.
(The three of them exit.)
Melody: It wasn't snowing when we showed up...
Akira: Weird.
(Akira Dr. Grey and Melody go outside and see the snowstorm. Then suddenly it gets really hot, and the snow melts.)
Akira: Whoo! I'm baking in here! (He takes his coat off.)
Dr. Grey: This is rather odd. Why is it suddenly so hot?
Melody(Taking her coat off.): I wonder if it's this way every where?
(Meanwhile Aka and Kiiro are walking along a path.)
Kiiro: So Aka this is a cold day huh?
Aka: yeah. I guess.
Kiiro: Hmm I wonder if I could make some cash selling saps coats today?
Aka: You're weird Kiiro.
Kiiro: Wanna see something weirder?
Aka: What?
(Where Kiiro is standing it is snowing. Where Aka is standing its only cold and windy.)
Aka: Why is it snowing only in one spot?
Kiiro: I have no idea.
Aka(making jacket tighter.): This is making no sense.
Kiiro: I try not to wonder about these things.
(They continue to walk.)
Aka: I have one question Kiirobon.
Kiiro: Yeah?
Aka: Why am I walking with you?
Kiiro: I dunno. Writers' joke I guess.
(Meanwhile Michiko is in her house listing to music and reading a magazine, when her mom pops in her room.)
Michiko's mom: Michikobon I just saw the heat wave on T.V! Why aren't you out there enjoying yourself?
Michiko: Um Mom, have you looked outside lately?
(They look outside and see a windy scene, and a man hanging on to a street lamp to keep from flying away.)
Man: HAAALLLLPP!
(Then a cloud flies overhead. The cloud makes a humming noise and when it is gone, the weather is more summer like now, and the same guy is now in Bermuda shorts.)
Michiko's Mom: I think you should stay in.
Michiko: Yeah, maybe for my own good...
(Back at Dr. Grey's lab, Ao has returned from some errands and sees Akira, Melody and his granddad. The funny thing is that Dr. Grey is wearing an Hawaiian shirt and snowpants, Akira is wearing a coat and shorts, and Melody is wearing a heavy coat and a sundress.)
Ao: Is there a reason for the way that you're dressed?
Akira: You'll see.
(Then the cloud that makes a humming sound flies over again and then it gets really hot.)
Ao: Wow...I think its time to change clothes...
(Then when Ao gets more comfortable and the cloud comes back it gets freezing cold.)
Ao: What tha?!?!
Akira: See! This has been happening over and over!
Ao: First thing I'm gonna to do is get something more comfortable.
(Ao exits, and as he does the cloud returns.)
Akira: That's it! I'm going up there!
(Akira goes inside the hangar and a hop inside the Flying Dragon Slayer as does Melody.)
Akira: Flame on!
(Then he starts the boosters and flies in the air, and as they do they see Dr. Grey in a mini shuttle.)
Akira: Dr. Grey? Why are you here?
Dr. Grey: I myself am interested in this rather unusual phenomenon.
Akira: Oookay! We're going in!
(They start to fly towards the cloud, but when they get near the robot and shuttle suddenly stop.)
Akira: Why are we stopping?
Dr. Grey: Without booster power we're gonna crash!
(And they both begin to fall but then the bot and the shuttle start to head up as if they were being yanked on string.)
Akira: What's going on?
Dr. Grey: A tractor beam?
Melody: I don't see a farm in sight...
(Inside the clouds both are taken, and the robot is pinned to a wall as is the shuttle. Our heroes simply get out of their transportation.)
Melody: Maybe who ever did this is ahead!
Akira: Right, but how are we standing on a cloud?
Dr. Grey: Not a cloud my boy but a cloaked ship.
(They begin forward and soon see a castle in the clouds.)
Akira: Should we?
Dr. Grey: We should.
(They open the door and see a red b-daman playing a huge organ. He continues to play even after they have come in.)
Akira: Excuse me!
Red guy: Can't you see that I'm busy?!?
(He continues the rest of his song and then finally comes to greet his guests.)
Red guy: What do you want?
Akira: I'm Akirabon! And I want to know what you've done with our weather!
Red guy: HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT! Do you know who I am?
Melody: No.
Red guy: I am the brilliant Dr. Toikio!
(Thunder clap.)
Akira: Uh huh... Um why did you make the weather all weird?
Dr. Toikio: It is all part of my nefarious experiment! To rule...THE WORLD!!
(Thunder clap.)
Melody: By annoying people with wacky weather?
Dr. Toikio: Soon people will submit to me just to have normal weather! Then I will be unmatched in power!
Dr. Grey: I remember you! You were in my class on robotics but I kicked you out because you were a "Mad scientist".
Dr. Toikio: Oh yes, I have to repay you on that Dr. Grey.
(He presses a button and a chair pops out of the floor under Dr. Grey.)
Melody: What does that do?
Dr. Toikio: It is another one of my inventions! (Darkly) The Soul Reaver!
Akira: Isn't that a video game?
Dr. Toikio: Yes! A good video game too! One that deserves to be named after one of my inventions!
Dr. Grey: I sure hope this thing is a bluff.
(Toikio presses another button and the chair begins to hum.)
Akira: No! We have to stop that thing!
(Akira and Melody desperately try to pull Dr. Grey out of the chair but then they are shocked by something.)
Dr. Toikio: Yes! My no touch force field is working!
Akira: This is impossible!
Melody: We have to save Dr. Grey!
(Then the ship starts to tremor and alarms go off. Dr. Toikio checks the screen and finds a b-da pterodactyl attacking the cloud.)
Dr. Toikio: Stop that!
(Toikio shuts down some of the power to use to shock the bird away. As this is being done the chair shuts down.)
Akira: Dr. Grey! Are you okay?
Dr. Grey: I saw my life flashing before my eyes! I wish I could of spent more time in my high school years..
(Finally Toikio manages to get rid of the bird by shocking it with the cloud's thunderbolt.)
Dr. Toikio: Okay! Now that that's done! To finish you!
(Then the pterodactyl tackles the cloud breaking it in half.)
Dr Toikio: I hate him.
(The cloud disappears revealing warship that has been split in half. The warship starts to fall to the ground.)
Dr. Toikio: WAHHH! My plans all fall into dirt!
Akira: Come on you guys! We have to get out of here!
(They begin to run, and Akira takes Toikio with him. Then Akira gets into his bot and they escape. Once outside surpassingly the warship floats up in the air and keeps going up.)
Akira: What's gonna happen to it?
Dr. Toikio: I guess that it'll just keep floating up until like a balloon it pops in the stratosphere.
Melody: At least you sound smart.
(Later on the ground.)
Dr. Grey: Well Toikio your rein of terror is over.
Akira: Yeah and your blizzard of terror and winds of terror and sun of terror.
(Then Ao appears with a stack of clothes.)
Ao: I'm ready for this thing!
Dr. Grey: Aobon that won't be needed. We've got the culprit right here.
Ao: Really? awww...
Dr.Grey: If you wouldn't mind taking him to the police?
Melody: Just one question, why did you do it?
Akira: I don't believe that "World domination" thing one bit.
Dr. Toikio: Because! This series needs a villain! And I'm it!
Akira: Umm Sorry. But we already have one of those.
Dr. Toikio: WHAT?!
Ao: We've got Four big dragons that are the villains, and maybe you should read more into things before you jump in.
Dr. Toikio: I'm going to jail FOR NO REASON?
Dr. Grey: That's the size of it.
Dr. Toikio: Rats.
(Ao takes him away.)
Melody: Akirabon, people are sometimes so silly.
Akira: Tell me about it.
(Later on in jail.)
Dr. Toikio: Well if this series already has a villain, what can I be? I wonder if they have a kindly but eccentric Doctor to help them out? I bet they don't! Well that's me! (To audience) Dr. Toikio will be back! You'll see! And I'll be on the good side this time!
Jail mate: Shut up idiot. I'm trying to get some sleep.
Dr. Toikio: Yessir.
