The Art of Shirle Klein Carsh

I am a surrealist painter;� the subconscious has symbolic language which fascinates me, and which brings me into exploring the mysteries of the Universe.� My paintings are different:� one of a kind.� My use of colour and design expresses a gift from the Creator.

My background is mainly classical.� One of my teachers was Dr. Arthur Lismer, of the Group of Seven, who allowed my artistic expression free rein.� He admired my strong sense of colour and my ability to view a painting in its totality.

The paintings you see here are from a different dimension.� I visualize them with my third eye and translate them into a Surrealistic style of art.

The viewer can make up his or her own mind as to what they see in my paintings, and so my paintings change because the mind is an ever-changing landscape."
