It all started when Little Anjali received her 8th letter, which her late mother left for her on her birthday each year.  Her mother, Tina had died just after labor.  In that particular 8th letter, she explained to little Anjali about what happened between she, Little Anjali's father, Rahul and Anjali during college years.  Another Anjali, you may ask. Anjali was Rahul's bestfriend in college.  Tina and Rahul had named her daughter after her.
  Anjali and Rahul are best of friends during their college years.  Anjali for one was not a typical girl.  She didn't like to wear make-up or dresses femininely.  Instead, she played basketball and hanged out with her guy friends. Then came the principal's daughter, Tina, who had just transferred from London to India to study.  She's beautiful and a feminine girl who was a dream to guys especially Rahul.  Soon, Rahul fell in love with her just when Anjali realised that she’s in love with her best friend, Rahul.
 Anjali was upset upon hearing this.  Just then coincidently, she received letter from home saying that there are problems back home and that she had to go back.  Feeling dissapointed, Anjali went back to her hometown, leaving all she had in college behind, even Rahul.  Nevertheless, she tried her best to forget him and the heartache he caused her.
  Rahul was sad to lose his bestfriend.  He didn’t hear or receive news from Anjali ever again.  He married Tina later.  As for Tina, she realised that she was the cause of Rahul and Anjali’s breakup.  Thus, in the letter, she asked Little Anjali’s help to bring them back together, to return Rahul’s first love, Anjali.
 So with the help of a picture of Anjali and sources, Little Anjali managed to find Anjali who is now a teacher.  They were having summer camp at Shimla.  Little Anjali knew she had to get her father to come to the summer camp.  So in order to meet Anjali, Little Anjali tricked her father, Rahul that she had a bad cold.  Her worried father rushed from home, all the way to camp.  There he saw Anjali, his best friend for the first time after 8 years, looking very different from the Anjali he knew back in college.  Anjali now dressed in Sari and had long hair.
 Soon, as time past by, Rahul fell in love with Anjali and Anjali fell in love with her first love whom she can’t seem to forget again.
  The only problem is that Anjali is now enganged to Aman.  I guess you can figure out the rest, kind of predictable in a Hindustani love story. Nevertheless, this love story sets apart from other because for one, there’s no fighting scene and the leading man is married and has a daughter in the starting of the story.
