A bunch of us AFOLs got together in The Construction Site (aka TCS) in Waltham, MA on Saturday 4/15/2000.
Tim Courtney (visiting from Illinois), his father, Todd Lehman, Suzanne Rich, Eric Kingsley, Eric Joslin, Matthew Miller, Steve Borden, Sun Yun, Shaun Sullivan and I (Shiri Dori) met at TCS, then went for lunch at the Bison Country and later for some fabulous ice-cream at Lizzy's...
It was great fun, some people brought along some cool MOCs and we passed them around for all to see.

I managed to snap some pics, sadly that was after Matthew and Shaun had left...

From left to right: Eric Joslin, Tim, Todd, Sun, and Eric Kingsley.

From left to right you see Suz, Steve, Tim's father (whose name I missed!), and Eric Joslin. On the table you can see my inn's 1st floor (oh, and an ice cream cup :-)

Right: Steve and Tim's dad watch in amusement as Eric J's "VW B-3 'beetle' personal transport" approaches the Bloodstone Inn.
Near left: The driver of the VW explains the beetle's features to Jon.
Far left: Eric J's mecha attacks Jon... aah!

The inn-folk are having a friendly chit-chat with the B-3 driver, when all of the sudden....

...Todd's ultra-cool dino-mechs appear, as if out of nowhere! (but actually they came out of a silver anniversary tub :-)

Although seemingly threatening, they assure everyone that they "come in peace"... even when they are joined by the whole bunch....

Sadly, I missed pictures of:
-Matthew and Shaun
-Shaun's awesome WWII tank
-Tim's Zacktron stuff
-Tim's 6-wide fire truck
-myself
But believe me, they were all there!

Somehow nobody's surprised when Scar joins up the dino-mechs...
Good thing she decided to come back after a while (where would my story go without her, huh?!)

I had a great time, and I hope everyone else did too!

I'll be looking forward for future meetings with AFOLs!
