4/8/2000 (sort of, it's actually 4/11 now but never mind) The Bloodstone Inn is now complete... I'm still leaving this page here for reference, and for myself too (it's fun to recall how I did this!). But here's a link to the complete inn. It's been great fun doing this! Thanks a million for all the comments, and I'll still be happy to hear any! -Shiri

3/27/2000 -click on any picture to enlarge- I've been working on the "blood line" and also on the second floor, as you can see from these pics. Not too much to say... I'm missing some grey slopes for now... the second floor is removable.... the stairway is also removable... the blood line is made of 2xN plates... and... that's it. In the pics you can see the second floor being taken out, how I used the "blood line" to support the 2nd floor, and the way the stairway is built (removable). LMKWYT! Thanks for stopping by, -Shiri

3/15/2000 -click on any picture to enlarge- Please enter the Bloodstone Inn. The first floor is now completely furnished, and the tavern is immediately crowded by the town folk. Enjoy! LMKWYT! -Shiri |

3/14/2000 -click on any picture to enlarge- I'm in a real hurry tonight but here goes. I started the interior today. In the left most pic you can see the innkeeper behind her newly installed bar. Second from left: the wine barrel near the bar. second from right: out the back door there's a well... not too sure about the quality of the water though ;-) Extreme right: the innkeeper climbs up the stairs to... nowhere yet... Hope you enjoyed, see ya later! -Shiri

Late 3/11/2000 or 3/12/2000 -click on any picture to enlarge- You can't really see it but a back door is now installed. Also the arch leading to the stables is different, I decided that since the stables are small (3-4 horses, tops) they don't need a huge gate. The front window was the main thing here, I framed it differently (still colorless but I'll try and work something out. Anyone got some red inverse extreme slopes? ;-) As before, I appreciate comments so please let me know what you think. -Shiri

3/11/2000 -click on any picture to enlarge- As a follow-up to feedback I received on lugnet (thanks guys!) I changed the door orientation, spaced out the columns and put in the arched windows where the gap used to be. Future updates will hopefully include... *Back door for employees, leads to well/stream. *Second floor, with rooms for rent. *Interior including kitchen, bar, stairway. *a color line. Thanks for the comments! -Shiri

3/10/2000 -click on any picture to enlarge- Inn front of you you can see the In front... (sorry, hadn't had my daily pun dose ;-) This is in progress so bear with me... I'd love to take in comments about this while it's in the building process. I'm writing this late at night so forgive my hurriedness. Anyway, you can see the building isn't rectangular. It's sorta L-shaped. No interior yet but rest assured, there'll be one. (Interiors are my favorite part of buildings!) The back part will be the kitchen while the front of the first floor will be a tavern-y area. Second floor (yet to come) will hold a few rooms. Obviously this is nothing as big as Eric K.'s beautiful Inn but my excuse is not having enuff bricks. I hope to match it by quality at the least... but that'll be a tough one too... :-) In the middle picture you can see a view from the back. Not much to see yet. The arches (far left) will lead to a small stable for those arriving from afar (on their way to somewhere else). Note the weird window style. I'm not sure how much I like it but It'll hafta do for now. My main problem with this planned building is that it's way too gray. The roof'll be red but still seems like it'll be too dull. I'd like to add a colored line but I don't have enuff plates. Any suggestions? BTW, the inn does have a name. For now it's confidential... mainly because I haven't quite made up my mind yet. In the right picture you can see the window style and the gate leading to the stables. (the brick is just holding the baseplate in place :-) Please LMKWYT. Thanks, -Shiri
