Feeling... like I should be doing my work Happiness of the day: being on time for work. haha. Event of the week: Electric String Quartet concert on Monday Time now is half past 9, I should theoretically be doing my work. Hmm. Theoretically. I wanted to come back to the office on Saturday, to finish up the reading I aimed to, but didn't manage to finish on Friday. But when I woke up Saturday morning, it was pouring, so I decided my bed needed me more. Which also means that I'll have quite a bit of catching up work to do today. Which means that I'll have to concentrate very well later. Which means that I need coffee. I've not been sleeping well, since I started this attachment. It's not like I'm stressed up by my workload, cos seriously, actually I'm not doing much. I think it's more to do with the stress of needing to go office everyday, on time. Since my boss isn't around, actually I can be late. The other intern is late all the time. Hmm. But I just feel like I shouldn't. The other intern has a website too, by the way. She's been here for about 4 months, and when she first got here, she found this booklet left behind by someone else, about HTML programming, so in this 4 months, she's set up her own website. She doesn't know what I have one too, or that I've been typing crap on the internet for about 3 years now. Actually her website looks nicer than mine, so I'm rather ashamed of myself. But I'm wondering if I should take advantage of this computer in my office and actually work on my website during office hours. Hmm. I won't go to hell for that right? Hmm. I think that's why I'm feeling a little uncomfortable here. On one hand, my cubicle provides me with so much privacy, but a little too much. Hardly anyone comes to my cubicle, and with my boss away, I can seriously do whatever I want here, and nobody would actually know. It's just too tempting. A computer with internet connection....I'd might as well forget about doing any work at all. See, I've just spent 30 minutes typing this entry, and replying mails. Think it's time to get back to my readings. About competition law, by the way, which is kinda interesting. | |
