I feel sick. I am also terribly cold-intolerant. Yesterday, I met Ming at the PSC tea session and I was the only one feeling cold. Then, I met Poach later in the afternoon to take the Toefl together and although it was raining and slightly cold, I was desperate enough to buy a new piece of clothing just to be warmer. I hope this cold-intolerance phenomenon is only because I am having a cold. ( Oops, pun unintended.)
I probably have to apologise to Poach for being totally fussy while shopping. I tend to be a little more whiney when I'm sick. I realised this when I asked myself why I had to tell everybody that I was feeling sick. Hmm....and complain on and on about it. Although this is really a pretty mild case of flu at most. Hehe..sorry~
Despite my illness, my family managed to make me play mahjong with them for the past few days. Every night for the past 4 days at least, we played mahjong like there was no tomorrow. In fact, I'm sure Agnes can vouch for that. This poor girl always calls me just when I am playing mahjong. Well, everytime she calls, I win the game though, so I don't really mind her calling more often. But I have digressed. The funny thing about playing mahjong these few days is that my brother and I are winning now, against our parents. The weirdest thing is that my dad is the one who has played mahjong for at least 10 years and who is also the one who taught us the game... Hmm... explains his grumpiness for the past few days....haha...
Today, Chuan Tat enters a new chapter of his life: NS. For non-Singaporeans, NS stands for National Service, where the guys have to undergo two years of compulsory military training. It is kinda of a big deal for the guys in my class mainly because they are mostly wimps...hahaha.... Anyway, Chuan Tat is the first one from my class to is enlisted. Some of my classmates went to "send him off", but I didn't. Instead, I'll be going to send Jinghua off. I wait in anticipation to wear my mocking smile. hehe..
