I just want to share this poem that a friend from UIUC wrote for our newsletter. I think this is so beautiful. Loneliness..something that I'm always struggling with.

Alone

Lonely
is the sound of a pinfall
in a busy market square

Lonesome
is the moon unable to see the sun
past the expanse of the earth

Loneliness
is staring into a constellation
to find no star shining back

Empty
is the dial tone
after the dance of distant signals that spelt the words

"goodbye"
