I finally managed to buy my contact lenses today. They're not ready yet, but I already feel like I have accomplished a lot.
At first, I was quite embarrassed going in to buy contact lenses, cos my myopia is really quite serious and it's not like wearing contacts can make me an instant beauty. (That would require a miracle, dear~) But I was glad that young guy in the shop was pretty nice. He answered all my questions while keeping this unbelievably sunny smile. But he was rattling on with all the brands or whatever technical terms so quickly that actually I didn't catch anything. But he helped. He made me feel comfortable. =) Anyway, if anyone of you reading happens to see me with the contacts and finds me looking even worse than before. (That would also require a miracle actually. hehe. )Please do not say anything to me before I accidentally tear the lenses apart or drop them or wash them down the sink...etc...get the idea? Point is, this contact lens thing is important to me. Not only because it will help me get rid of this hideous metal frame from my face, but also because I PAID FOR IT MYSELF. So shaddup if you have nothing good to say. |
