I've only just managed to finish my engineering homework for today, online. I think it's quite cool to be able to access my homework anytime I want on a computer, but I'm still not quite used to being unable to have someone else sitting beside me doing the same homework, comparing our answers
Anyway, I am finally getting into school life here. I've not settled into a final routine yet, as I still need have not included my french lessons, my ECA meetings, going to the gym and stuff like that. But at least I'm ready to do homework. I think that's pretty much the main part of schooling. My seniors have been talking about how they have no time for any ECAs other than the Singapore Student Association, no time to go partying, no energy to have fun etc etc. They have made so many negative comments about how tough the college of engineering in UIUC is that I'm not sure I can prove them wrong anymore. So there. I'm all ready to become a "mugger". I shall study hard, work hard, finish all my homework on time, try my best for all my quizzes, tests and exams and at the same time remain sane. Sane enough anyway. Yes, I know. My new school resolution scares me too. |
