| I met Tony Daniels (C3P0) at Star Wars weekends when I was in 9th grade. My drama class was going up to MGM at the exact time he was going to be there. HEE!! I stood in line for about 3-4 hours while everyone else did all the rides (hey, I'd been there about 20 times before). When I actually met him, he was really nice and my friends embarassed me on the side by yelling 'Hello' to him... This was the first ever time I met anyone famous. It was the start of my Con geekyness. |
| Nicholas Brendon from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. This was when the show was not popular at all and the way Nick 'sold' the show was by doing county fairs... Poor guy!! But really great for me! I saw on TV (only 2 commercials) that he was going to be there and I conned my mom into taking me. Again, such a nice guy, really sweet and what a cutie!! |
| Joxer and Eli from Xena! Also known as Ted and Tim. My very first sci-fi convention I went to. Got my friend to go with me, and it was a ton of fun! These two guys were really nice, even though Cretin was hosting the con <gag>. It was in Orlando so one day we hit Islands of Adventure, and the next was the con. |
| Rebecca St. James. One of the most popular Christian singers. Night of Joy at universal, I went with three other friends. We saw a lot of bands, but I only got to meet Becca. That was the poster she signed for me, but i left it in the hotel room!!! :( Aussie girl, and a wonderful person to take on as a role model. |
