| Time to Go Home |
| We went downstairs and found everyone in the bar having breakfast (there was hardly anyone there now) we sat around, then moved outside for a while, and when it came time for Kathe and I to leave for the airport, Michele called and talked a bit to Kathe while I said my good byes to everyone. The ride there was quiet at times, but we got to the airport in one piece. Laurie, Sarah, and Shaye saw us off at the airport and Kathe and I said bye and headed towards our ticket counters. I got to mine and I couldnt find my ID. I had to open my suitcase, dig through my space bag and I finally found it in a pair of jeans. Then there was me trying to fit all of my clothes and stuff back into the space bag, I tried to get the air out, but it just popped and made a big noise through the airport. I finally got everything back in and settled and checked my luggage. Im never traveling with you again. Kathe, I wouldnt blame her either <g> We got there at about 1 and my flight was to leave at 5:40, I said good bye to Kathe and then waited around the Cincy airport for 3 hours. It was then I scribbled down the outline of ScaperCon events. It was fresh in my mind then. I got on the plane, landed in Charlotte, hung around there and spent practically the rest of my money there- its like a big mall!! Then got on the plane heading home. It was a night time flight, so I saw a lightning storm and pretty city lights. I fell asleep though, and was jolted awake cause my ears were clogged up and it was hurting. I couldnt hear the rest of the night. I got home at 11, got to sleep at 12 and thought I was getting up the next morn for work at 8 HA! Yeah right. I went in at 12. The rest of the week was filled with a head cold must have caught Scaper germs or something cause I had a cold, as some of the other shippers did also. |
