Ship finder was created in the fall of 2000. It all started when Jon Manning went over to Rick Zink’s house to play a little guitar and possibly write some music as well. It basically snowballed from there and Jon and Rick then needed a name for themselves, many names came and went but the band name that the guys felt worked best for them was Ship Finder. Rick and Jon became friends in the year 1995, grade 5, and took a break from each other in grade 6 because of difference’s, which have since been resolved. There was always talk of creating a band between Jon and Rick, but the chance never poised itself until October of 2000. Since the genesis of Ship Finder, the guys have gone into record their demo and are presently creating music for their first album, working tittle: Working Tittle. Future concert dates are being established and will be released on the site in a matter of time.
