So American News & world repors created another " best public universities". So UCB can be on first place! American private colleges give students best education, better teachers. They also accept donation from alumni and corporations. They work harder. They are not afriad from outsiders' donation. They are not scared about their property being taken away by donners. In Taiwan, private schools make produces (students, graduates), afterward, no commnications, no warm relationship. Private schools only look for small donation. They don't hire best teachers. Graduates don't appreciate them either!! American private colleges receive government grants from their outstanding achievement. Like Chien Shu Sun, the one pushed the nuclear bomb into the sky outside Marshall Islands, blasted the first Chinese Nuclear bomb went to private MIT, then private Cal Tech. Look, Dr. Yang Cheng Nin (楊振寧), Cheng Dao Lee (李政道), Tsu Chi (?), all Nobel Laureettes, graduated from private University of Chicago (74 prizes in Nobel Prizes 100 years history). Even, Lee Yuan Tsuao (李遠哲), the Taiwnese Nobel Laurett, went to University of Chicao for 6 years post-doc study!! Why Taiwanese private colleges named them self as university, but afraid good teachers to go there to teach, donation from good sources. They only ask money from governments, so no one is going to take over their property. They try so hard to keep everything privatized!
