Rules
Quick Reference:

  • 1. No spamming, end of story. If I catch you spamming, we will permanently remove you from the board.

  • 2. If you have a problem with a fellow player take it up with them. Do not post your differences on the board, for that will be spamming. See rule 1.

  • 3. Make sure you get our approval on all characters. We're keeping track of who's who, and if you don't post for a long time without any excuse, we will be forced to relinquish your character so the story can keep moving.

  • 4. When posting on the boards, please remember to refrain from heavy profanity, specifically when having a character speak. Bastard is a typical medieval-type insult, and 'Wench' is an insult you'd use to a woman.

  • 5. Do not step out of bounds with the character. If you are choosing to play a character from the game, you can play them from your viewpoint, DO NOT screw with them; i.e., - Camus would not suddenly backstab Miklotov for some large sum of money, Sierra would not run off and marry Neclord, etc.

  • 6. Yes, you can kill characters, but the deaths must be fitting of them. A character will most likely be killed in battle with another, if at all. Of course, it's more than likely that someone like Viktor will not die in a battle against someone like... let's say... Pilika. Let's be reasonable. First of all, there would be no reason for those two to fight O.o;

  • 7. You may not use another character's actions. You may show another player's characters actions if, and ONLY IF you have expressed permission from the player, or if that person has CO-written a post with you; this will be indicated at the end of the post, if it is the case.

  • 8. You may not kill another player's character without the consent of the player. Killing your own _ORIGINAL_ character is entirely up to you, and none of us will stop you if you so choose to do so. However, if you are playing a Game character, then permission will be needed from the Founders before you go and knock them off. The consent must be warranted by the user through email to both the user, and myself. [email protected]

  • 9. NPC characters - Anyone can have them, anyone can use them. We are not limiting certain characters to NPC's, however it is imperative that if one person is using a character as an NPC, that another player cannot use that NPC until the first person is finished with them, or the NPC leaves and arrives at the location the other user is in. Don't you think it would be a little rediculous if Camus ended up in the Highland Region at the same time talking to Miklotov?

  • 10. NPC battles - if you are going to fight an NPC, there are two options; you can role-play the fight out by yourself, or one of the founders will step in and take control of the NPC's actions for the duration of the battle.

  • 11. OOC (Out of character) posts and IC (In character) posts should be self-explanatory You may post OOC at the end or beginning of an IC post, but please refrain from using OOC in the middle of the RP. If you have something to ask the founders, mail them.

  • 12. If you disobey the above rules, you can and will be ejected from the Board.

  • 13. No one-liner posts. Please make your posts at least four paragraphs long, with three sentences each. Also, when posting it would be helpful if you put a location tag at the beginning; I.E.
    Highland Territory
    Near Tenzan Pass; Highland Border Checkpoint
    Morning
    This makes things easier for people looking for a place to stick their characters.
