During the Middle Ages in Romania,
there was an evil prince called Vlad Tepes Dracula,
his way of dealing with his opponents earned him the
title " Vlad the Impaler ". After a long battle against
the Dinesti Clan, he lost his life... Then came the
Grim Reaper ( A.K.A Death) who took pity of him
and gave him eternal life... as a Vampire.

The villagers became horrified when bumping into
their dead comrades drained of life and blood...
It was then a young woman named Sonia Belmont
decided to put an end to the evil count... The battle
would not be an easy one, but she prevailed and
Dracula was banished to the underworld for some
time.... The villagers feared the Belmont's power,
and had them exiled from Romania. Years later,
Dracula arose from the dead and wanted revenge
against the Belmonts, but his evil deeds were thwarted by
the latest Belmont, Trevor. Dracula was now condemned
to a century of sleep. A century later, Dracula returned
with an other attempt to shroud Romania in darkness.
Then he met Christopher Belmont, who like Trevor
succeeded in banishing him once more to the underworld.

15 years later, he returns once more and finds King Drakul,
thinking Drakul would be easy prey was a mistake, especially
after witnessing his undead army being wiped out by one single
demon, he flees and finds his next victim, Christopher's 15 year
old son, Soleiyu. It wasn't long that Christopher got to him for
a second time and succesfully defeated him again...

Two generations later, Simon is born and is trained
by his parent until tragedy strikes : his parents are killed
by Dracula's minions... Now 18 years old, Simon
prepares for his greatest challenge yet...
