The Heroes

Simon Belmont

Age : 18

Special Skill :  Whip Tech

The main hero, Simon is the latest to face his destiny as a Belmont :
hunt down Count Dracula. His quest begins when his grandfather
asks him to get some milk at the city of Bucharest. The mayor
asks him to rid the nearby Voyagers Cave of monsters...
In the cavern his first challenge lies there...
As a fighter, Simon's power is of average strenght,
but his later Whip Techniques prove to be very powerful...
 

Carol

Age : Unknown

Special Skill : Black Magic

Carol is first encountered in the Voyagers Cave, she
seems to have a very bad case of amnesia, since
she dosen't renember her past or where she comes from...
Naturally, Carol's main strenght is casting offensive magic,
not fighting.
 

Jared

Age : 20

Special Skill : White Magic

Jared is a young priest who dosen't seem to fear danger,
as he happily joins the party, his defensive magics will
be welcome during those difficult and LONG boss battles.
As with Carol, his strenght is in keeping the party healthy,
not fighting.
 

Alucard

Age : Unknown

Special Skill : Dark Magic

The well known son of Dracula ( CV3: Dracula's Curse, SOTN ),
Alucard wants to help Simon on his quest but he also has his
own reasons for joining...  His fighting skills are superior to
Simon's and he can cast a variety of spells, mostly offensive
magics, but he does learn a few healing spells to help out
against the stronger monsters.

Sir Grakul

Age : N/A

Special Skill : Protect

Another of Dracula's peers, Sir Grakul
will only join your party late in the game
and only if you've done some certain
events. His power rivals Death's he's
not quite as strong, but still he's a worthy
ally who can add your stats like more
attack power or more defensive power.
 

Death

Age : N/A, he's immortal

Special Skill : Grim Magic

Dracula's long time partner, beleive it or not, joins
the team when he learns of Alucard's reasons
and to replace a party member that suffers a
cruel fate in the hands of evil. It is only
natural that Death is nearly unmatched by anyone
due to his awesome power and magic. The best
comparision I can give would be Orlandu from
Final Fantasy Tactics. Still, he is vulnerable to Holy....

Supporting Characters
 

Grampa Belmont

Grampa Belmont, first name Soleiyu ( Sound fammiliar ? =P ),
is always ready to give his grandson advice or help...
His father was Christopher Belmont ( D'uh ! ).
 

Villains

King Drakul

Dracula's long time rival, Drakul wants to have
Romania for his own so he can rule it with his
power of darkness...  He has many monsters
that work under him...
 

Demorgo

Drakul's second-in-command, Demorgo is a mysterious
but powerful demon that appeared out of nowhere when
Drakul was about to lose his life to Dracula... He saved him
and managed to defeat ALL of Dracula's minions (except Death )
on his own... Since then, he has sworn to be loyal to Drakul...
He commands Drakul's well known and feared Harpy Force,
an army which consists of thousands of harpies, he also enjoys
to annoy the high leaders of the army, the 3 harpy sisters...
 

Leena, Clare, Simone

The 3 sisters command the lower soldiers of Drakul's army,
Leena is captain, Clare commander and Simone is the general
of the Harpy Force, thought she must follow the orders of
Demorgo...
 

Dan & Lara

This brother-sister duo are the bridge between
the 3 sisters and the generic harpies, these two
are reccuring foes who will be in your way
more than twice... They command the soldiers
but follow orders from everyone else...
 

Mr. Drak

A "friend" of Demorgo, he allows Drakul's army
entrance into the villages so he can rule it once
it is under control by the enemy... However,
Mr. Drak is not what he seems to be...
 

Firebrand

A Dragon Knight from the Dark World, he assists
the enemy to do all sorts of nasty duties, such as
destroy a peaceful village... When it comes to a duel,
Firebrand wants his opponents to give their best so
he will heal them completely before fighting.
(like Rubicant of Final Fantasy 4 [2 US])

Magnus

An evil warlock from the dark world, unlike
Drakul, instead of having haripes, he has Orcs,
humanoid pigs to serve as fighters. Once you meet
him, you'll notice that he has a striking ressemblance
to Magus of Chrono Trigger.
 

Rowdain

One of the remaining minions of Dracula, Rowdain has decided
to go to the Voyagers Cave and try to kill the young Simon,
let's say neither his Zombie cohorts or his Thunder magic can
really hurt Simon, he'll end up defeated like all those that fell
before him.
