Reasons:
Honesty, I'm tired to write why I love them. Because as we can see clearly, they're BOTH cool. But it's OK, I'll write it for you.
Why should you love Rei?
Rei is dream. I believe that there's no people act EXACTLY like Rei in this world (I mean, though you r quiet, you won't let yourself naked in front of the boy; read: Rei did it in front of Shinji at the episode 5). She's TOO cool & calm to face anything in this earth. She hasn't any emotion. She never cry, angry or laugh. And I think that's so cool. Other than that, Rei is the trademark in anything, because she's different than anyone. Her face, her dresses, her hair, her style, her act, her etc. Rei is the character who push the authors to make a new quiet weirdo character, such as Yukishiro Tomoe (Rurouni Kenshin), Yumura Kiriko (Noir), Kikyou (Inu Yasha), Meia Gisborn (Vandread), etc. But she's still trademark, she's still the best. Rei IS clone. She's not 100 % human. But she's different than the other clone, android or robot character in other anime. I mean, like Hand Maid May, Video Girl Ai or Chii (Chobits), they're act exactly like a human. And Chii, although she's weirdo but she act like a child. Rei is not. She almost never act like an ordinary people. But after all, she's still have a humanity like... she loves people, hates people & cares of people. When everyone says, she has a humanity & love just for Shinji & Gendo, and it's because she's the clone of Ikari Yui. If so, why the hell she have to help Asuka in some battle or why the hell she wish to be EVA pilot just because she wants to help people in this world? Everyone might think that she's weirdo & sux. But till now, I still think that Rei is cool.
Why should you love Asuka?
Asuka is fact. She's reality. She has an attitude, a life like ordinary people. She can face her life with her intelligence, but almost can't control her emotion with it. She cry, angry and laugh. She has TOO many emotion. Everyone might think that she hasn't a humanity when she insult people or say her opinion without think of everyone's feeling. But well, I think it really shows her humanity! Face off, guys! Look into mirror! EGO, that's the one of humanity! No matter nice we are, we must have a moment when we need to be alone & care about our self only. If we don't, then we aren't a human. Everyone might think that Asuka is rude. Well, she's not. She has a manners, she says Guten Morgen or Hello to everyone in the morning (even she try to say it to Rei). She treat her mother nice. And although she often says anything rude to Shinji, it's not an indignities. It's just kind of advice (even if she can't shows that in a better way). Everyone might think that she's just a cry baby who just can say her mother's name when she sleep. Well it's just naturally. At least she doesn't cry in front of people like Shinji did. And what's wrong if we love our mom & say her name in our sleep? Asuka is not a cry baby, she's independent woman. Although sometimes she can be so childish, it's because she's grew up too fast (when she's still have a time to be a child).
Why Rei & Asuka?
Everyone always stat them as competition. They're always known as Rei VS Asuka. And lately I think... Is there any time or way to makes us live in peace and not hates? Come on, guys! Chill out!! Rei & Asuka BOTH cool. And it's not because we prefer the one of them it means we have to hate the other one. And well, I'm too lazy for making a site in different URL, than I'll put them at the same place here.

A: My lay out is sux because I'm sux, my browser is sux & my front
page is sux and I'm lazy to make it nicer.
Q: Why your English is sux?
A: I hate English subject.
Q: Why the information quit wrong?
A: EVA never played it my country because EVA had more contras than pros here. I
only have seen the TV series (not full) & The End of EVA. And my EVA VCDs
use a Japanese language and translated to English, well some of them translated to
my language too but it's just the 12 first episodes. So it's better if you just
help me with email me and tell me the right information.
