The woman in the long red dress giggled seductively. �Oh Rufus! You are just too much� she touched Rufus�s arm and got closer in his face. �Rufus� dear� I never got drunk at the Halloween Bash!!�
�Uh, huh. I�m sure you didn�t.� Rufus thought to himself, sarcastically. �Now go away and leave me some peace!� he waved his hand and dismissed her.
�Okayyyy!� Scarlett said in that sing-songy sultry voice as she sauntered out.
�God that woman makes me sick!� Rufus shuddered. �I should fire that harlot, but then again I need a legitimate reason to give her a one way ticket out of here.� He thought. �Does coming onto a ShinRa employee qualify?� Rufus sneered to himself. Despite the antics she played, Scarlett was a fairly decent ShinRa secretary. �I should make Ruthie the secretary.� Rufus muttered.
Ruthie was the front desk manager. She was rather quiet, and really shy. But deep within her heart she carried on a love for Rufus that she tried to hide in her. �I can�t seem to get my mind off of you,� she thought.
The phone rang and jolted Ruthie from her dream world fantasies. Rufus was on the other line.
�Ruthie, I need you to step into my office for a while.� Rufus hung the phone up.
Ruthie clenched her hands into fists. �Ohhh� she murmured. �i.. can�t go�� her face flushed. She slowly made her way to the elevator, her eyes darting back and forth. �Ok� I need to calm down. I�m sure whatever it is can�t have anything to do with an unspoken attraction to me, though its all in my wildest dreams that he ask me that�and in my really wildest fantasy that�d I�d become� Mrs. Rufus Shinra!!� she pressed the elevator button and anxiously wrung her hands as she waited for the elevator to take her up to Rufus�s floor.
�What?! But, I-I-I ALWAYS do my job well! I mean, I�m the only one cut out for it! Who are you going to appoint to secretary? HOJO?! That fool came on to me.� Scarlett was vexed that her secretary position was going to be taken by someone else. Now the annoyed prima donna decided to point some prodigious scandal towards the Head of the ShinRa Science Department.
�Scarlett I really seriously doubt Hojo would, I mean, I know he�s really unstable, but even he�s not crazy enough to pursue you!� Rufus scoffed.
Scarlett glared at him but said, �Who�s taking my place?!�
The door to Rufus�s office opened.
�Ahh here she is! Ruthie will be taking your place. But it�s just a trail thing!� Rufus told Scarlett.
Scarlett drew a pout. �This girl is not fit for my job!� she made an annoyed sound of contempt and she turned, clacking away on her heeled shoes.
�She-she seems, a-angry..� Ruthie stammered.
�She�ll get over it. Besides, I�d rather work closer to you anyway.� Rufus locked his gaze on her.
�Well�I�. should�umm�well�. what does Scarlett do anyway?� Ruthie looked uncertain
�Well she�s supposed to file the company papers and documents, but I send her on meaningless tasks too, like fetch me lunch, or make me coffee.� Rufus looked down at a document.
�I could make coffee!� Ruthie blurted a little fast.
�Sure�. Knock yourself out� Rufus said skimming the paper, barely paying attention.
The next month was almost Ruthie�s dream come true. Making Rufus a coffee or two, she volunteered to get him lunch and other various things. Rufus even took her out to lunch and he did enjoy having her around him. He found himself just having chatty, intimate discussions with her.
Scarlett on the other hand was annoyed with the front desk job. Nothing interesting happened and no good gossip for her either. The biggest thrill of her job was coming onto the SOLDIER guards outside the office. She even shirked her duties and wandered off to find Heidegger and flirt with him. She even tried to flirt with Hojo, but he ignored her and she ended up getting frustrated. She left him completely alone after he threatened to use her in his twisted experiments and lock her away as his human tester. She was looking forward to the ShinRa Christmas Gala, when she could get more free martinis and be able to flirt and play with whomever. Then Scarlett unintentionally revealed to Rufus, Ruthie�s true feelings.
�Ruthie! Just the gal I wanted to see!� Scarlett gushed.
�Me? But� why?!� Ruthie was surprised. She thought Scarlett hated her for taking her job position.
�I just cannot help noticing, but you have this� thing for Rufus� don�t you! Hahah it�s so cute though. I mean, really you�d make a great couple, the names even sound sooooo great.� She paused and added �You do like him right?!�
At this precise moment Rufus was coming around the corner, but he stopped when he heard Ruthie say:
�I do like Rufus� I love him. But these past months�. I don�t know. I think he likes me�. But.. Oh, just go away from me!� Ruthie snapped at Scarlett, embarrassed for speaking the truth to such a tramp like Scarlett.
At this moment Ruthie saw Rufus brush past rather quickly.
�Rufus?!� Ruthie blushed crimson.
But Rufus ignored her.
�Too bad� I guess if you were more� voluptuous like me! Ah ha ha ha� Scarlett cackled.
Ruthie went pink, and then her face twisted to an angry glare. She shot out her hand and slapped Scarlett across the face and bolted away.
Meanwhile Rufus was getting into his white Mercedes.
�I don�t like Ruthie at all! She�s�. just my�co-worker� my secretary�that�s it!� Rufus didn�t realize it but he was in denial. He did like her. He was attracted to her.
�This is too much�. I need to get out of here�. I�ll just go to Costa Del Sol for a while���. Get my mind off stuff here�. Yeah��
Rufus reached for his mobile phone and dialed Scarlett�s number.
�Scarlett, I need you to tell the rest of ShinRa they can have the weekend off. Yes, yes, you are secretary again.� He hastily added when she questioned him �why cant� Ruthie do this?�
Rufus drove to Costa Del Sol. Checking into the finest hotel room he laid back on the fine bed. But all his thoughts went back to Ruthie. How he enjoyed her company, her laughter, her conversation, and the way she made coffee.
�Holy god� I think I love her�Ohhhhh man�i am such a stupid IDIOT!� he thought. �Now Ruthie is probably hating me because I told Scarlett she can have her job back. Rufus put his head into his hands. �Man I am an IDIOT,� he told himself. By this time, Rufus was worn out that he fell into a dreamless sleep. At 3 am in the morning he awoke with a start. �I know exactly what to do now!� He said out loud�
At the Christmas Gala everyone was wondering why Rufus was late. Scarlett however, was busing herself with drowning a 4th martini and being more of her harlot self. Being confident thanks to her intoxication, she leaned closer to Hojo at the hors devoirs table.
�Come on Hojo� come drink�with me.� She giggled seductively.
Hojo looked up at her coldly. �I wouldn�t put that in my blood system you feeble-minded cretin.� He told her coldly. �I have a tranquilizer here with me�� He reached into his lab coat. Scarlett ran off, she wasn�t sure if he did or not, but she didn�t want to chance it. Instead she ran to Heidegger giving him a little run.
Ruthie was by herself near Reno of the Turks, who was getting himself a lot of crackers. (And pocketing himself extras) when the door opened and everyone turned to see who it was. It was Rufus of course and he looked at Ruthie and smiled.
�First I�d like to thank you guys for coming here. And I have an announcement. Ruthie here, she�s been a great secretary and I want her to continue it too.�
�WHAT?! Scarlet screeched
�That�s right, Scarlett, I�d pack and leave, I don�t need you and the rest of ShinRa sure as heck doesn�t!�
Scarlett blushed. �FINE I will go now.� She stalked off, angry
Rufus waited until she left the room when he finished his statement. �And I�d like to present to Ruthie� this!� he pulled out a ring box out of jacket pocket. �Ruthie� will you marry me?!� he asked her, presenting to her a huge 18-karet-diamond ring.
�Yes� yes, of course!" she looked down, blushed, looked up, her eyes shining.
"This is coming out to be what I wanted perfectly planned out" she thought......
Say what?! Uh-oh....what is this "coming out to be what I wanted"??

Instead she hid it all behind a brash over confident personality.
"Rufus liked my company at the Halloween Bash. But that was before that idiot girl came to Shinra!"
Funny, I really don't remember that much...
"What the heck am I supposed to do NOW? Rufus fired me and I've got no place to go and whats worse is what the heck did I do to make him want to fire me?!"
Then she saw Ruthie duck behind an alleyway.
"I think I'll go knock her upside the head" Scarlet muttered.
"Kill her and dump her body, ha! Like with a cannon!! Kya ha ha! Oh man, I'd love to be part of Weapons Development"
Scarlet followed Ruthie from a distance.
"What is she doing now?" Scarlet muttered as Ruthie pulled out a mobile phone out of her purse
"Hello? Yes this is Chrissy, how are you darling?"
"Yes....Its working. I've got that Shinra fool falling for me. He's got Scarlet out of the picture.
taking the company from him will be a breeze"
"Once I get all his assets the fool's company will crash! AVALANCHE will win out!"
"Yes Wedge, see ya dear"
Ruthie clicked off the phone.
"Chrissy?! Her name is CHRISSY?! She's an AVALANCHE worker? She wants to screw Rufus one over?" Scarlet pulled at her hair.
"What's worse is that no one will believe me either. and Rufus has been hornswaggled by this %*$&#!!!" Scarlet looked helplessly around her.
"I know you heard me Scarlet!
and you had BETTER not repeat a WORD or i'll KILL you myself!"
Chrissy knocked Scarlet against the wall. "Miss Gucci dress. Oh my, did that manicure cost a fortune? Too bad you can't afford another one, losing your job and all"
"How 'bout I take my heels and shove em --" Scarlet started
"Shut it you *#^%&! You ought not mess with Chrissy Parvanu! I already messed
with your memory, and Rufus'!
He will only remember the terrible things you did Scarlet! and too bad you can't remember those terrible things you did
I'm unstoppable..I'll...
oh wait! My phone is ringing! Oh Hello Biggs dearest...yeah I'll be over soon. Hehe! Sure darlin'" she crooned.
Scarlet made her escape while Chrissy sweet talked Biggs as well.
"Ohhh now what.....I can't let Rufus be stolen blind by that two-timing JERK!! I've got to see him!" she stood up and went back to Shinra Headquarters.
"And why should I listen to you? You are a lier, plus you aren't sincere about half the things you say and do." Rufus glared at Scarlet
"Because its TRUE! Look, I heard the woman talking, I'm sorry, she's not the girl we all thought she was..." Scarlet trailed off.
"Come on, just let me have my job back, ok?!"
"Huh? What do you mean? (Rufus pushed his hair back) I really think you've been drinking....I never ...oh! just get out of here!"
"Yay! Thank you Rufus, I'll prove I'm right!" Scarlet dashed off and Rufus pushed his hair back again.
Scarlet hurried to Reeves office. She had an idea on how to catch Ruthie/Chrissy in the act of being her devious self.
"I don't know Scarlet. I mean, well, I guess so, but, I never knew Ruthie at all.
You know me, I never attended any of these Shinra gatherings, I always stay up here,
monitor the mainframes, and I go home, and feed my cats.
I'd rather be with my cats than at some Shinra Annual Something-Or-A-Nother." Reeve said.
"Uh-uh, uh-uh...anywho you have security all around her work area, right? All I want is to expose her.
I love my job as much as you do, Reeve, and I don't want to see our company fall,
espeically by that con artist!" Scarlet spun on her heel and left.
"And it just fills me with joy to think that I'll become one with you!
Oh Rufus..." Ruthie snuggled next to Rufus. "When is the wedding anyway?" she asked lightly
"Err, well, gah, when do you want it......"
Rufus looked uncomfertable. "Can Scarlet be correct? Is this girl not what I think?
Or is Scarlet just showing her jealousy that she can't get anyone?

and even though I've moved on with Wedge, I don't care. We'll take Rufus down and we will have all his cash....then I can get someone more attractive than ol' Wedgie and as for Biggs, he's nothing either!.

Scarlet left the building and continued through the parking lot to her car.
"Hiiiiiii yah! Stop right there!!" called out a figure.
A young girl with short black hair and chunky armor dropped down. Throwing a couple of punches, the girl grinned and opened her mouth to speak.
"You must have Materia!!! Give me alllllll your MATERIA! I want it! I NEED Materia!" she demanded.
"But.... I don't have materia...." Scarlet told her.
"I'm YUFFIE! I'm a materia hunter! I hunt, I steal, I buy.....but I need materia!!" Yuffie told her.
"I don't have any on me....." Scarlet's mind was thinking
Maybe this little girl could help her out.
"Heeeey! That is a neat dress!" Yuffie told her
"Yes, this one is a french lam� dress. Anything I own has to be fabulous, you know!" Scarlet said in her normal snooty manner.
"Well.....I like it......but i'd like it MORE if it was green....... and it needs pockets.........great for hiding Materia!" Yuffie grinned and Scarlet shook her head
"Yes....how would you like to...... help me out? You see........there is this co worker of mine.....she's really evil, she's got loads of materia on her..." Scarlet started but Yuffie interupted her
"Materia!! You said MATERIA!" she jumped up
"Listen Yuffie, how about you steal all her materia.......but just give me the manipulate materia. Think about it. The woman, Ruthie has LOTS of powerful stuff. Master Materia too! Think what you can do with Master Materia. Plus you can sell it...." Scarlet was interupted by Yuffie again.
"And I could sell it......and buy my own green lam� dress with pockets for MATERIA!! Its a DEAL!!!" Yuffie grinned.
"You know WHY I want a pretty dress? because NO one will suspect a perfect 'lady' to pounce em and steal the materia!!!
Yuffie smiled
"Ok...then let us do it this way.... You come to the cocktail party and then pose as a Shinra employee...you get the materia off Ruthie (Scarlet pulled a picture of Ruthie out of her purse) -that's Ruthie- and steal her materia!!" Scarlet briefed her.
"OK!!! But......(Yuffie smiled angelically at Scarlet) I won't look like a fancy Shinra executive will I? Won't I need a dress? I don't HAVE any nice party dresses, only plain ones that won't do!
Besides...... looking good is lots of fun...RIGHT?!" Yuffie smiled and tossed her hair.
Scarlet could see where Yuffie was leading to.
"Allright... you have a deal. I'll buy you a nice green lam� dress....with pockets for materia...(as Yuffie said it along with her)
ha! not like I'd miss a couple thousand gil! Hop in Yuffie!" Scarlet opened her car door and let Yuffie inside.

"Allright!! I LOVE this dress! Its sparkly, its chic, its cool! Its got pockets!" Yuffie grinned at her reflection. I look cool!

Press a button and it retracts to become a dagger." Scarlet smirked.
"Wow! No one would ever guess....you are a mechanical genius! You should do something with weapons!" Yuffie smiled
"Uh yeah.....but we are falling short of the objective here" Scarlet told her
"Right! I'll pay attention...ack! Who is that fat guy comin' over here?" Yuffie freaked.
"Ah that's just Palmer, he's a real no brainer." Scarlet whispered to her.
"Hey-hey! Who do we have here, huh-huh? Hey-hey! This ones a cutie! Woo! Hey-hey....wait.....what do you do here at Shinra?!" Palmer danced like a fool while talking
"Well, I watch over the parking lot! That's why your cars don't get stolen or defaced!" Yuffie said nervously
"Hey-hey! I didn't know that! Hey-hey, I'm gonna go get myself blind stinkin' drunk that I won't be able to see a thing! Hey-hey!" Palmer danced/waddled over to the drinks table.
Yuffe walked over to the punch.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Yuffie asked Reno of the Turks
"I'm spiking the punch!!! Watch the non drinkers get drunk too!" Reno snickered.
"Oh! Well I'm gonna go steal from Chr- err Ruthie! See ya!" Yuffie said.
Yuffie approached Ruthie. She dashed up and bumped her.
"Success!! I stole your materia!" Yuffie tauntingly stuck her tongue out at Chrissy.
"Give that back you little *$#(@$%!!!!" Chrissy snapped. Chrissy lunged forward for Yuffie,
but Yuffie threw the materia to Scarlet, who caught it instantly.
"Oh you are lookin' for this aren't you.....Ruthie......" Scarlet glared at her. She opened her purse and tossed the materia in it.
She pressed a button and reveiled that this wasnt' a purse she was carrying,
it was a machine disguised as a purse, but it was really capable of destroying materia
"YOU IDIOT!!! Now I can't hold that IDIOT (she pointed her hand at Rufus) at my mercy!!" Chrissy screamed.
The rest of the Shinra memebers (The Turks, Heidegger, Palmer, Hojo and Reeve)
just stood watching the conversation with interest.
"Don't look so shocked Rufus! I NEVER loved you. That's right! I JUST WANTED TO STEAL YOU BLIND YOU SON OF-A- %(&$&#!!!! DON'T THINK I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN YOU!"
"Do I know you?!" Rufus asked her.
"OH YES YOU DO! THINK! THINK BACK 17 YEARS!!" Chrissy screamed.
"I never knew you then....." Rufus told her.
"Oh no, not Ruthie! But you knew a CHRISSY PARVANU!!!" she shrieked.
"Oh my.....yeah.... but i was so young...I was only seven years old. I don't remember at all" Rufus stared at her.
"Oh sure....you'd like to forget how you MURDERED my dog!! AND my goldfish" Chrissy shook with rage
"Killed.... I....... OH.... but that wasn't my fault you idiot!! If YOUR dog hadn't attacked me for no good reason, Dark Nation wouldn't of attacked it saving me." Rufus told her.
"Its your fault you know!" Chrissy raged. "My goldfish.....I only had it for a day! I only asked you to watch it for a SECOND! a *$)(*&%&)($SECOND!!
But NO! you had to go leave it under that tree and run off!" she screamed
"But, it time for my tuitoring, I couldn't just not show up you know." Rufus told her quietly.
"I don't care! You still had to pay! Pay for what you did!" Chrissy picked up a knife and ran to Rufus.
But Rufus calmly disarmed her.
"I wouldn't struggle or try anything stupid" he warned her.
"Oh yeah sure....I've got a loaded one in my purse!" Chrissy pulled it out. But she didn't see Dark Nation stalk up and lunge at her.
Shrieking, Chrissy dropped the gun, but Dark Nation had already mauled her to death.
Rufus looked at Scarlet
"So that's why....why I felt odd at times and I felt like I wasn't myself. I don't remember much...." Rufus stared into space.
"How sad.......she was driven by a mad craze to kill you because her dumb dog died in a silly accident!" Yuffie shook her head.
"Scarlet...." Rufus started.
"Yes?" Scarlet's heart fluttered. "Maybe he does like me......now that Chrissy doesn't have control on that side of him" she thought.
"I-um, wanted to thank you....and how about as a sign of thanks....i'll let you be the head of the Weapons Development!
Ha, I really like this purse guise.."
A few weeks later, Rufus called Scarlet to his office.
"I made an interesting discovery....haven't you always wondered why Chrissy chose the name 'Ruthie' to go by?"
"Why yes...why did she choose that name anyway?" Scarlet asked him
"Well, apparently there is a whole thing behind Chrissy...
it seems she was put in the hospital for her uncontrollble rage and anger.
But Chrissy had all of them fooled. They released her, but she assumed a new name
and apparently....Ruthie was the name of her dog..." Rufus said.
Its over......but its NOT over!! Sure Chrissy is gone, but what about Rufus and Scarlet?
Scarlet still harbors all sorts of feelings and Rufus too!

But I suppose I could go��somebody has to make the other girls there look obsolete! Even though Rufus probably won�t be there�..� Scarlet muttered.
�Stupid Reeve throwing a dumb party at his house�.oh he�ll invite the slummers to the gathering,
why should we Shinra Employees have to mingle with them? I just won�t go.� Rufus told Tseng.
�Oh, ok�but I�m going to take Elena with me.� Tseng told him, leaving the room.

one who I wish to spend ever waking minute with� Rufus thought to himself.
After work Reno came up to Rufus� office.
�Hey��you aren�t goin� to the party? Come on�you have to, the booze will be FREE!�
Reno persisted for a while, until Rufus reluctantly agreed.
�Good! I�ll take you! Rude will be in the car too, you know, we are hoping Aeris and Tifa might be there��� Reno grinned.
�Yeah, well Aeris and Tifa can�t even hold a candle to Scarlet� Rufus thought. They went to Reeve�s place.
�Oh I hate this�.idiots from the slums becoming drunk, and whats with this no talent band from Kalm?
And there�s a slum drunk doing a palm stand falling over��oh why did I let Reno talk me into this�.�
Rufus was thinking while scanning the room, but then he saw Scarlet.
�She�s all alone, maybe I�ll talk to her.
Oh I hope she doesn't think I'm trying to impress her with the way I'm dressed.� And Rufus walked over to her. They talked for a while until the event was over.
�Scarlet seems really interested in me, but I can�t really quite tell her anything,
I mean, who knows if she likes me anyway?� Rufus thought to himself on the way home.
(The next day)
Scarlet looked out her window. �Oh its so boring.� She looked at her assistant, Heideggar. �What a moron� she sighed.
�Gah, ha, ha, ha! This is great!� He laughed while making the new defense unit.
�If I have to hear gah, ha, ha again, I�m going to kill him. I�ll strangle him with that stupid green necktie of his!� she clenched her fists together.
�But I don�t want to mess my nails up�� she thought, while painting them.
�Hey! You are supposed to help me!� Heideggar whined.
�Can it loser, I�m on my coffee break.� she told him coolly.
�I�ll get Rufus on to you!� he threatened.
�Oh really? Oh, look; you made me go and miss a spot�� she told him.
�Hey-hey! What�s goin� on here?� Palmer came into the room to see the progression of the new defense unit.
�She�s painting her stupid nails!� Heideggar growled
�And he won�t quit with that stupid horse laugh!� Scarlet shrieked
�Stuck up�� Heideggar started but Scarlet cut him off.
�I oughta SLAP YOU!� she raged.
�Oh my, what is going on?� Rufus asked
�She�s painting her claws again,� Heideggar griped.
Scarlet let out an annoyed protest but Rufus cut in.
�She can do that for all I care. She�s the one who�s the brains here.
Not you. And must I remind you again to stop that stupid horse laugh?� Rufus walked out of the room.
�Kya, ha, ha! That�ll show you!� Scarlet laughed.
�I could just die I am so mad!� Heideggar moaned.
�I just love Rufus Shinra!!� Scarlet sighed. �He actually stood up for me! He tol' Heideggar to back off!
I bet he LOVES me and my pretty nails!�
Scarlet walked into the coffee room. Rufus was just coming out.
�Oh hello Scarlet, nice day huh? Making new progress?� Rufus tasted the coffee with the stir stick and tossed it out. �See you later, I hope.� Rufus walked out.
Scarlet got a happy grin to her face.
�I love Rufus too much�oh I wonder if he likes ME?!
He must, oh� he�s my sole reason I LOVE to work at Shinra!�
Meanwhile, up in his office, Rufus was busy pondering his thoughts over Scarlet.
�She�s like the drop of morning dewdrops on red roses. She�s my reason for reason.
She�s like the view I see when I look over the ocean under the luminous moonlight,
I want to hold her until the sun goes down! But why must I have the dreaded thoughts of fear?
Why must I keep it bottled in me? I love her! She�s always in my thoughts, close to my heart. �
Scarlet walked back into the Weapons Development Unit she worked at.
�Took you long enough!� Heideggar complained.
�Oh, I�m sorry, here, I�ll help you with this�� she told him
�What�s wrong with you?! You are being considerate!!!!� Heideggar freaked out.
�Nothing, I�m just in love�� Scarlet shook her head violently. She just let her guard down, and to a complete idiot too!
�If you ever, EVER mention this to Rufus I�ll gut you and use you to lacquer my coffee table!!!� she screeched.
�Oh, ho, ho, you have it baaaad for him�. my surveillance sees ALL!� Reeve cackled insanely. �Careful Scarlet, you don�t want to become Hojo�s next specimen in another birthing cloning whatever he did.�
�I�ll grind you up in a wood chopper if you say a thing!!� Scarlet�s face turned pink.
�I-I mean it! It�s not an empty threat!� she told them, even though it IS only an empty threat.
She looked around the room. �This is it, my life as I know it is over��
�Just tell him�� Elena said. �Look, I over came my fear, I told my dear Tseng, and now look�. everything is great! I suggest you do so.�
Elena told her.
�But Elena�why are you here?� Scarlet asked.
�The President told me to be your bodyguard.� Elena told her.
�Ohh Rufus actually wants to protect me!? Ohh, how sweet, darling Rufus wants the best protection for ME! Of course,
I�m the most beautiful woman in all of Midgar!!� Scarlet thought to herself.
Nobody realized Don Corero was in the room, lurking in the shadows.
�Hey, I found my perfect bride! I�m going to force her to be mine! La, dee, dee, dah� Don Corero cast a Sleep spell on Elena, Reeve and Heideggar.
�Oh joy, joy, joy, you will be mine. Hee hee ha ha ha! Don Corero laughed like a lunatic.
�Oh you get away from me! I�ll gouge your stupid eyes out!� Scarlet threatened. But Don Corero grabbed a hold of her.
�Come with me, beautiful lady in all of Midgar!!�
Scarlet let out a high pitched screech. Don Corero ran out with her.
�AHHH! HELP ME!!� Poor Scarlet flailed and tried to hit him. Don Corero laughed.
Rude of the Turks was coming down the hallway with Reno.
�Free half and half�s!! All right!� Reno opened the coffee creamer and drank it.
�Oh my gosh, quick! Inform Rufus of this!� Reno gasped, spilling the creamer.
The two Turks took the elevator to Rufus� office.
�SIR! SCARLET HAS BEEN ABDUCTED BY FAT DON CORERO!� Reno screamed.
�I�ll kill the stupid freakish idiot! That lousy cretin! How dare he steal the woman I so long for and love!?� Rufus jumped out of his seat. �Hand me my shotgun, this is personal!!� Rufus growled
"WOW! He LONGS and LOVES Scarlet?!" Reno laughed.
"So? You LONG and LOVE Tifa!" Rude told him
"Yeah? Well YOU USED to like Tifa! NOW you like AERIS!!!!!" Reno told his buddy
"Shut up...." Rude blushed.
Rufus took the secure road to the Midgar Slums.
�Oh my gosh it looks awful, how can he subject dear Scarlet to this mess?
She�s a woman that deserves the finer things like life, like brilliant diamond earrings� she does not deserve to be here in the slums!� Rufus charged into Don Corero�s scary house.
�Tseng cover me!� He ordered. �Corero, you are DEAD!� he screamed. He lunged out at him and tackled him.
�You let my beautiful Scarlet go NOW!� he yelled.
�Oh ho, ho never! I have her shackled in my dark creepy dungeon!� Don Corero laughed.
Furious, Rufus knocked Don Corero out with a chop to the neck.
�Lights out!� Rufus said as he hit him. Grabbing the keys from Don Corero�s belt, he ran down to the dungeon.
Scarlet was chained in a damp little cell. Her dress damp from some murky water and a rat crawled close to her.
�Scarlet!!! Oh Scarlet!� Rufus unlocked the door.
�My dear, are you alright?� Rufus held her tightly
. �That idiot messed up your pretty hair�.� Rufus trailed off.
�Oh, I love you, you know that?� Scarlet told him.
�And I love you too my beautiful cherry blossom.
My rosebud blossoming in the spring. You are my rose with no thorns.
You are my sunshine after the rain, you have planted the seeds of love deep down in my heart it�s a sweet flowing river that is forever flowing free within my soul!� Rufus gushed out to her.
�Oh my dear Rufus� I love you.� Scarlet held on to him tighter. �Please get me of here.�
�Scarlet, I am going to carry you my darling, I can�t make you walk this long way in your condition�
Rufus carried her back to Shinra Building, back to his office.
�Look Rufus, the sunset�its beautiful and I can experience it all with YOU my dear!�
And the two of them watched the sunset from the window of Rufus� office.
�This is heaven.� Scarlet murmered, leaning her head on him.
Rufus gave her a rose and put his arm around her.
