�You drive me insane!� Reeve said unable to control himself
�Pfft, yeah right, it�s the likes of YOU I can�t stand! Just do us all a favor and disappear off the face of the earth�
Scarlet looked down at him and shot him a look of contempt.
Reeve stormed off. �I HATE her! She�s annoying, she complains, she thinks she�s better than us all, and WHY Rufus has his eyes on her is beyond me!�
�Its too bad she�s not still a secretary, like what President Shinra appointed her as. The man thought that a woman wasn�t eligible for such a position as Weapons Developer. Now with Rufus in charge, Rufus is allowing her to have the position� Reeve let out a frustrated yell and sat down in the caferteria. He tried not to notice the other Shinra executives around him.
�Hey you Reeve! You sure look pi-sssed! What�s eatin� ya?� It was Reno of the Turks.
�Not that its any of your business but I had another run-in with Scarlet� Reeve said brusquely.
�Scarlet? HA HA HA! You better be nice to her, you don�t want Rufus getting medieval on you! Ha ha ha!� Reno sniggered
�oh yes, I surely don�t want that! It would be just like her to whine or mention it casually to him and he�ll get mad that I made Scarlet vexed.� Reeve said dully.
�I�d say that you LIKE her the way you get all heated up over her�..� Reno laughed.
�Shut up! I haven�t liked her since our school years.� Reeve said sourly.
�AH you DID like her, or DO like her or whatever!� Reno�s eyes got big and saucer-like. �Tell me MORE!�
Reeve shrugged. Not like he had anything better to do.

Midgar Junior High (Exclusive School)
�You know, I don�t like this skirt� Rinoa complained. (Note: its not Rinoa Heartilly, its just a girl with the same name)
�Yeah, it constrains our natural beauty� Scarlet tossed her hair.
�But you look great in anything you wear� Rinoa told her.
�Yeah, I DO don�t I? Kya ha ha!� Scarlet struck a pose
�For what its worth, I think you look nice� Reeve told her
�Scarlet, that weirdo is talking to you!!� Rinoa said in a loud whisper.
�Yeah, well, I don�t have time to acknowledge him! Hah, hah, hah� Scarlet told her friend
�Oh Scarlet, you are terrible!� Rinoa laughed and the two girls ignored Reeve.

�and Scarlet just ignored me and continued to gossip with Rinoa� Reeve muttered
�Whoa�.she totally gave you the cold shoulder! Did you give up then?� Reno asked
�No��as a matter of fact I heard that Scarlet rode Chocobos so I decided to take up the sport because I wanted her to notice me.�
------------Chocobo Lessons Flashback--------------
�So, I�ll be riding a lessons Chocobo?� Reeve asked.
�You sure will! Not everyone can be like Scarlet� Chocobo Bill said icily.
�Scarlet? Who�s that� Reeve played dumb.
�Oh, just one of the students that owns her own Gold Chocobo. Not that she even cares about it, Chocobo Racing is a �glamourous sport� and she is a great rider, but she cares more about how it will make her look. She doesn�t care for it herself, she gets the stablehand to watch after the Chocobo.� Chocobo Bill muttered.
Reeve wasn�t listening to him, he was watching Scarlet ride in the ring.
�She looks great� he said.
Reeve saddled his Chocobo and struggled to get him out into the arena.
�He-hey Scarlet!� Reeve struggled to stay on the Chocobo.
�Oh, its you�umm, Reese, was it?� she looked down her nose at him
�We-ll actually its Reeve, but its ok---ay�whoa! How do you control this animal!?� Reeve almost fell off.
�Carefully, Reese! Oh watch out for the pole��.�
Reeve crashed into it and fell off the Chocobo. Scarlet laughed and flicked her hair.
�If you don�t mind, Goldenrod and I are going to go, she doesn�t like your Chocobo, au revoir� Scarlet coaxed her Chocobo into a canter and left Reeve in a pinch.

�Yeah, so maybe the racing wasn�t my thing, so I quit and I took up Elizabethian Poetry elective at school, hoping she�d take notice to me, but I ended up making a fool of myself then as well. Scarlet was a popular girl at school, with Rinoa as her right hand.� Reeve told Reno
�So she was a snooty girl and you were just a �nobody� in the school?� Reno asked.
�Yes. That about sums it up,but it was nothing compared to Journalism class.� Reeve told him.

�We have a new Journalism member today, Scarlet� Rinoa told her.
�oh, who is it?� Scarlet was filing her nails and sipping club soda
�Its Reeve� Rinoa told her and Scarlet spit out the club soda.
�Him? That stalker! Ooh! He�s been bothering me nonstop!! Lets see if we can dismiss him� She told Rinoa
�But you know how the Journalism teacher is, she allows all kinds of morons to join this class. Remember Claudine?� Rinoa pointed to a girl whose bow was a little off and chewing on her pen.
�Yeah, good point, well I guess we�ll have to put up with Reese, the stalker in training.� Scarlet frowned.
�Howdy-doo Scarlet?� Reeve grinned at her.
�I�m pretending that you aren�t talking to me.� Scarlet told him bluntly

�Oh, well I have the PERFECT scoop for our paper�..� Reeve started but Scarlet cut him off.
�Don�t know, don�t care and don�t slam the door on the way out, Reese!� she told him, glaring at him. Rinoa gave him a cold glare as well.
�I look forward to working with you!� Reeve put his hand on her shoulder.
�Don�t TOUCH me!! Don�t even LOOK at me! Don�t even THINK about me your moron!!!!!� Scarlet shrieked and frantically brushed away at her shoulder.
�She�s so cute when she�s angry� Reeve thought as he left to go get his sources for the paper. �I�ll get a great scoop then she�ll HAVE to notice me!�

�Scarlet thought she was better than a lot of people. Well maybe because of her looks and her charm. Plus she has a genius mind, you almost can't blame her for being so inconsiderate and selfish...almost...� Reeve told Reno
�And I was so blinded by my own infatuation for her, that I failed to realize this.�
�So you still continued to try to impress her?� Reno asked
�Oh no, basically I gave up and we ended up going to different high schools. When we both got jobs at Shinra Inc it kind of annoyed me, but you know, I don�t think she even remembers me from school� Reeve told Reno
�Umm�probably not� Reno told him
�yeah, but I haven�t forgotten HER. And she STILL annoys me half to death and I HATE her!� Reeve griped
Reno just sweatdropped. �Umm Reeve, you might want to shut up now�
�No, I�m just getting started. What�s more is I think Scarlet is a stuck up, self centred, intolerable bi� OUCH! What the hell!?�
Scarlet just pounded him on the head.
�That�ll teach you!! Scarlet turned on her heel and walked away.�
�You know, you deserved that� Reno said.
�I haaaaate her��.� Reeve moaned
