(SPOILERS AHEAD!) Obviously this message means that if you haven't finished the anime or manga, you probably don't want to proceed ahead as Shinobu's biography may ruin the plot for you.

SHINOBU'S RELATIONSHIPS

What seems to be in every character shrine... a relationship page. ^_^

	Taechi Shinobu's best friend next to Su. Taechi and Shinobu became friends when they, both outcasts in the social environment at school, befriended each other. While they are friends, Shinobu does not reveal too much about herself to Taechi, especially her feeling for Keitaro. Shinobu became jealous when Taechi started spending time with Su, but then, the three of them all became friends. Friendship Level (out of 5): 4
	Naru The relationship between Naru and Shinobu does exist, but is not really evident. Naru is quite protective of Shinobu, especially when it comes to Keitaro. There were quite a few times that Keitaro was punched by Naru when Keitaro did something inappropriate to Shinobu. Besides this, Shinobu and Naru make little contact. Some of the things that they have in common is a liking for Keitaro and they both want to become "beautiful brides" some day. There exists a friendship, but not much of one. Friendship Level (out of 5): 3
	Motoko Shinobu's relationship with Motoko is really not much, but, much like Naru's, is stil there. Shinobu makes very little contact with Motoko. Shinobu and Motoko did do some touring as Sword and Flower and she was consulted by Shinobu briefly about kissing, but overall, there really isn't any friendship between the two. Motoko is also quite protective about Shinobu and looks after her and makes sure she's safe. Friendship Level (out of 5): 2.5
	Keitaro ( "Urashima-sempai" ) Though Keitaro spends a lot more time with Naru then he does with Shinobu, Shinobu and Keitaro's relationship is quite developed. Shinbou has an evident crush on her "sempai" and does everything she can to make sure he is happy, even if it means giving up Keitaro to Naru. Keitaro and Shinobu spent quite some time together in the anime at a festival and a carnival. At times, Keitaro cares about Shinobu a lot, trying to comfort her and help her get through her tough life. The friendship between Keitaro and Shinobu is quite sweet.  ^_^ Friendship Level (out of 5): 5
	Su The way that the friendship between Shinobu and Su was created is quite moving. Shinobu acknowledge the existence of Su, but didn't really consider her anything more than an acquintance; that is until Episode 13 in which Shinobu discovers that Su is truly her friend - a best friend. Su had made multiple attempts to make Shinobu, who always seemed despressed to Su, happy, yet these attempts always backfire, leaving a mad Shinobu. When Shinobu finally realizes that Su is trying to be her friends, Shinobu cries in both happines, relvelation, and apologetic (for the way she treated Su). Su and Shinobu stay great friends throughout the series. Friendship Level (out of 5): 5
	Sarah Shinobu does not really like Sarah too much, mostly because she's an annoying brat who's mean to Keitaro and a couple of other people. The only "real" relationship that happened between the two is in the Spring Special in which she accompanies Shinobu to rescue Keitaro. Shinobu thinks that Sarah is a "cute kid" ^_^ the first time she sees Sarah. Hehe.  Friendship Level (out of 5): 2
	Tama Everyone's favorite turtle (except for Motoko, of course). Shinobu is quite protective of Tama, especially when it comes to Su's desire for some turtle soup.   Friendship Level (out of 5): 3
	Mei Not much of a relationship between Mei and Shinobu. The only "real" adventure they had together was when they went to rescue Keitaro and Naru in the Spring Special. Friendship Level (out of 5): 2

What about the other characters, you say? Well, I really don't think it's necessary to put the relationship between Shinobu, and say, Seta here. ^_^
