Lost Prophets Find Stardom!
Lostprophets are headlining for stardom.  The Pontypridd-based band of six mates have already won a legion of supporters and a record label deal to boot.
New albums, video and massive exposure on MTV habe seen the young metal rockers hit the limelight.
This week they're appearing on a Radio One Live set in Birmingham before jetting off to the United States for a whistle-stop tour of New York, Ohio, Illinois and Minnesota.
And if all goes well, they plan to tour Europe early next year with American rockers Incubus.
The band consists of Lee Gaze and Michael Lewis on guitars, lead singer Ian Watkins (No not 'H' from steps), Stuart Richardson on bass guitar, Michael Chiplin on drums and DJ Jamie Oliver.
Signed to Visible Noise record label, they've already released had their first album,
fakesoundofprogress and were nominated the best New Band in Britain at the Kerrang! Awards in London.
But the thoughts of the lads who are all in their early 20's are never far from home.
This week they made a guest appearance at the Pop Factory in Porth and the response was trmendous.
