There is a recurrent character in the "Castlevania" saga. Even if the vampire hunters that chase and destroy the menace of Count Vlad do change in every episode, there still is someone who may unexpectedly reappear, as soon as Vlad himself reappears. Adrian Farenheights Tepes, also known as Alucard, often shows up when the dark vampirelord resurrects.... even if many, many years pass between each resurrection. But Alucard doesn't get any older. Each time, he looks perfectly the same. But after all, he isn't a vampire hunter like others. He is Vlad's own son; a man with both a vampire's dark powers and an human's sensitive heart. In order to respect the last will of his mother, he chose to defend humans against the cruelty and selfishness of Count Vlad. Such a shame that to save those mortal beings means to fight and kill his own father. Our young nobleman, with his pale and almost feminine beauty, with his sad destiny and his cursed blood, has soon become the most popular and loved character of all the Castlevania saga. So many and many times he will rise again from his coffin, to fulfill his tragic duty. Many and many times through all the centuries he will return to his father's castle, because Count Vlad is immortal and will always resurrect... and Adrian Farenheights Tepes is immortal, too.
