Luc and Sasarai's meeting on the battlefield, transcribed from Suikoden II, but with some added thoughts and detail.

In Hikusaak's dark workroom, he once saw jars of eyes and other things. Thinking back on it makes him worry. When he asks Nika's opinion on the matter, she doesn't understand.

Nika doesn't want Sasarai to view her as a little girl. Lena strikes to the heart of the matter.

Sakurazaki approaches Sasarai, who is pensive and withdrawn, and engages him in some fencing.

Nika and Sasarai iceskate on a pond. Sasarai does not have very good balance.

Sasarai befriends a homeless man he's watched for weeks.

Dios thinks the general he'll be serving under is female and acts accordingly. Sasarai is, fortunately, unoffended.

Something about Sasarai just gets to him.
-Sakurazaki's Mori
Mori asks Sasarai about Luc, although Hikami and Sakurazaki knowing such a person. Sakurazaki and Mori head off to battle.
-On the Porch
Sasarai examines a windchime at Dios' house and gets a bit of well-deserved rest.
-Return of Fuko
Fuko comes back from his time in the military, missing an arm. He'll finally be able to take the teaching position he always wanted. Sasarai feels conflicted.
-Kina and Nika
Nika meets Dios' wife and observes some mysterious happenings at the Temple.
-Nika in Love?
Nika is oddly cheerful and does lots of extra work with a smile on her face. Sasarai is totally confused about it.
-Sasarai in Love?
Sasarai has some air in his step and is extra cheerful. Nika is confused over what's going on.
-Fainting
While passing through a crowd, Sasarai passes out and is carried back to the Temple. When he awakens, Nika shows him the many notes and things brought by well-wishers.

Sasarai visits Tjasse's place in western Harmonia and awards the inspectors from Caleria with the Silver Circle medal.
-Fulfilment of Fears
Paranoia sort of strikes as Sasarai walks the halls, looking over his shoulder time and time again. His fears are well-founded, as Luc appears.

On a small military movement, Aracio stops Sasarai to tell his story. They find they have somethings in common. Olia chides them for wasting time.
-Temple Wanderings (2 pages)
Nika cuts Sasarai's hair before he leaves. She fusses over having to stay behind and later chats with Kisa.

Luc works from the inside to accomplish his plans, filled with passionate rage.

Luc walks in the rain. He confesses his plans, but leaves the cathedral before Sasarai can see him.

Sir Ciaran acts as the guide for Sasarai and Dios with the Harmonian advance force. Ciaran tries to negotiate in the Safir Village, but archers fire on Sasarai...

Sir Ciaran is concerned that he'll be blamed for Sasarai's injury, but the bishop assures him otherwise. Sasarai asks Dios to stay with him until Dr. Miyo arrives.

In Sasarai's absence, Nika made the Temple sparkle. She had nothing else to do.

Sarah has second thoughts. The revelations Sasarai has received from Luc leave him ill.
-Dreams on Foot
Sasari has a frightening dream on his way to the Ceremonial Site.

Suzume's comments and explanations about Dios.

Luc carries out his plans and stands alone guarding the True Earth Rune. "It's too late" for regrets he decides.
