Okay! Finally I took care of this! Here are a selection of the photographs from my trip to Japan. I'm in a whole bunch of them because these were taken by my dad.
I had a really hard time sleeping on the plane, so when I arrived in Korea I was obviously exhausted. ...I never knew that I could sleep with one hand in my pocket and the other on my head...

The Imperial Palace in Tokyo. We couldn't go inside, but we walked around outside the moat. Our tour guide, Tomoko, who spoke very good English, told us about a time she saw the emperor leaving here in his car and he smiled at her.

Also in Tokyo, the Asakusa Kannon Temple. I got a fortune here that told me I would have very good luck. That I would even get that fortune was pretty amazing, what with my luck and all...^^

At the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. (More specifically: the roof of the Ghibli museum) This place was really cool, but we got lost on the way there. A nice lady helped out when she saw us examining a map on a street corner...A lot peope in Japan were really helpful, luckily for us.

Here I am eating at the hotel in Kyoto. Udon is probably my favorite food that isn't completely full of sugar. ^^; I sort of liked how this picture turned out.

The Golden Pavilion. Isn't it pretty? There were koi in the water and a breeze was blowing.

A large gate at Nijo Castle in Kyoto. We had to take off our shoes to go inside. The "nightingale floor" was really cool! When you stepped on it, it made sounds like chirping birds. It was so no one could sneak up on the shogun.

A friendly deer in Nara. They're everywhere and you can feed them.

Here I am walking around in front of Todaiji Temple in Nara. It's the largest wooden building in the world.

The place where I probably got the most excited of all: Mibu Temple. I'm really into the Shinsengumi, as everybody at Japanese School knows. ^^; I saw the Yagi House in Mibu as well. The buildings are still standing where they lived while they were in Kyoto. "These are the same places were Kondo Isami walked!" I was thrilled to see it after watching the "Shinsengumi!" NHK taiga drama that ended in February. Kawai Kisaburou's grave was there. There was a statue of Kondo too.

So there you have it! The quick overview of my trip to Japan. I had a lot of fun...
