Not too long ago, my sister introduced me to doll-making on the web. The first doll I ever made was this one of Feena:

As you can see, I wasn't very good at first. ^-^; I didn't really understand.
Later, I discovered the candybar doll-maker, which is actually a Korean doll-maker, but you can use an English version at the aforementioned location or dollpalace.com. I love to make these dolls. I think they're really cute, but as I have an abnormal sense of style sometimes my costumes for the dolls are a bit strange.

However, I've been practicing in hopes of being able to edit them better. After I lot of work, I eventually was able to make Kasumi, in her costume from Suikoden 1. I started with this: Image hosted by Photobucket.com...and edited her to look like this: Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So, you can see that I'm getting at least a bit better.

Click on the dolls to reach the sites where their bases came from, if they're not linked to in the comments.

I'm continuing on with my theme of making dolls of the strategists. Along with Rhea and Mio, I've also done Sanada and Mitsu:

On the trend of doing 'Murasaki' characters, here's Sasshalai as well:

Recently I made Hai-Yong and Falina:

And before I started on this theme, I made Catherine, Jenae and Koharu:

Inspired by something I saw on a Japanese website, I have the wizard Thomas Mio in his bathtub. His favorite place to get some thinking done. ^-^

And though he doesn't seem quite the same as the dolls, in a similar style I made Fra Giovanni, the pose is actually based on one of his own paintings. ^-^;

And here are Katella and Anabel Haznable on a base I think is cute! I found them here!

Right now, she's not on the main page...so Rhea will stay here:

And another more recent one is of myself (well, the character of myself)and my Sasarai doll.

New, for Cherryville's Heian contest, I have Himisa. I think this is some of my better hair...
