January
Sasarai, Chris, and Hugo. The main idea was just snow, nothing complicated.
February
Sasarai and Sir Stephen. This was the last of the pictures I finished. Originally there was an illustration showing a procession at night, but it was very detailed and I have a harder time coloring night colors so I swapped it out for this towards the end. The oranges are obviously left over from the Holy Father's Day explained in one of the comics.
March
Sasarai and Nika with Yohan and his son Clim further back. This was originally supposed to be a kite-flying picture. I have no idea what happened to that idea. I was thinking about clover and the wind.
April
Evangeline with a rather embarrassed looking Sasarai. The women in the foreground aren't anyone in particular, just some colorful lower class citizens. The theme was literal flowers and girls as flowers. What do you think those women said to make Sasarai hurry away looking like that?
May
Sasarai, Nika, and Dios. The idea was a picnic, of course! I like to draw food, which is why it appears in so many of these pictures. I'm like the little poppies and other plants behind them in this picture.

Sasarai, Dios, and Katsusa. Dios just can't leave his work behind even on vacataion, can he? ^^; Theme: the ocean...ah, I love the ocean...
July
Nika and Sasarai with Nash and Lena in the background (Lena is holding her daughter). The theme was swimming, although one of my comics states that Sasarai doesn't know how to swim so they're just wading.
August
Sasarai and Ippolito. The theme was the hammock. I've always thought they're really neat. Sasarai is napping (he had been doing the crossword puzzle in the newspaper) while Ippolito is reading. It looks relaxing...
September
Lena and Sasarai with Lianne (Lena's daughter) and Katsusa. The theme is going to school. I don't like school, but plenty of little kids do.
October
Sir Stephen and Sasarai. It's harvest time! There are mostly apples, but also a few pomegranates and pears in there.
November
Sasarai with Dominguez Jr. on his hand. Sahra, Tjasse, and Heizan further background. It rained the day I drew this, so it's an after the rain sort of picture. It looks cold!
December
'Sanih, Ket, Hazel, Dana, Sakurazaki, Sasarai, and Olia. The colors seem sort of icy to me. This is one of the many holiday (New Year's?) parties shown in the comics and once again, Ket has a bottle of champagne!
