Shining Light - Friends of Opal

'Twas the last day of March
And for wee buddy entries,
When suddenly the calendar
Wee Ones Opal & Cutey seize!

"Look!" cried the Cute One,
"Today is our last day,"
"We must work together quickly,"
"To have something to send away!"

So they started to work,
Thinking hard and scratching their head,
They first decided to make a graphic,
But they wrote this poem instead!

After much consideration,
Opal had a thought,
Why not tell about when
Each other's friendship we sought?

Unfortunately neither wee
Had a great memory to consult,
So more waiting and thought,
Came to be the result.

"Aha!" exclaimed Opal,
"We've got it, yes yes!"
"We met at DBoards at a party,"
"Where we made such a mess!"

They knew each other not well,
They cared not much,
They just did some things,
That, this, and such.

Hereafter both had found the MBF,
So fast friends did they become,
They shared with each other sprinkles,
They chatted like ol' chums.

Both Cutey and Opal
Loved their PSP a lot,
So when Opal needed WOGS help,
Say no Cutey could not.

They worked together in hunts,
They helped each other have fun,
They plotted together against others,
But of course no harm done.

When WO Buddies began and
Golden Unicorn announced their buddyship,
Opal and Cutey were delighted,
This was great to build their friendship!

But another thing that
The two had in common,
Was putting things off,
Until the due date was sudden.

Unless it was something special,
Like graphics for each other,
Cause they don't like to keep people waiting,
Unless 'tis their mother.

Not wanting to miss out,
They had sat quietly and thought
About all they had done together
Without getting caught.

They came up with a lot,
Memories they revived,
Through the many things,
That they together survived.

So, at the end of their talk,
Although it took a while,
They wrote out their story,
And closed it with a smile! =)

Gemstick

This is the poem my friend Wee One Cutey, b.k.a. Cutey, or hyper-girl-who-bounces-like-the-rest-of-us, wrote together for the Wee One Buddies contest for March. This wand was made for me once a upon a time when I was a DFriendz Playground fighter by Dee-Dee, the first friend I made in TSF. Butterfly BFly is our purple girl and a friend of all. She never forgets anyone when she gives holiday gifts, and no one can beat her in bouncyness. =)

Cass I came to know Cass, which is short for Cassiopiia, through DMessage Boards at The Site Fights. Cass is sweet, funny, and commonly associated with The Muffin Man and hiding in washing machines.

Caro I have known Caro, which is short for Carousel, the longest because we had become acquainted through the club I used to run. We became better friends in TSF, and now, not a day can pass without finding her carouseling amongst the MBF, leaving sprinkles, happiness, mysteries, and more.

Cutey You may have recognized the cartoon doll figure of Cutey is the one that is linked to this page from the original main SLSP because she is the friend I talk to most. Although others say Cutey is insane, I must disagree; I'm the only insane one around here!

Ducky Perhaps you recognized the cartoon doll figure of Ducky as the link to my MBF page. MBF stands for Message Board Fairy, but we recently added "Message Board Friend" to the definition, who are those of us who hang out at the message board of TSF. Ducky is a great example of a MBF, and she is always there for everyone.

Eppie Eppie, who would graciously offer to drive us places if we could ride with her, is another one of my TSF friends. Like the rest of them, she's silly but also kind and caring. Plus, she runs all of our snowball fights and remember when topics. =)

Kat I have known Kat a very long time although didn't know her too well until last fall because she was the first one to e-mail me after I joined the Wee Ones in late 1998. She keeps busy with her work at TSF and other places but also hangs out at DBoards and is always there to help us out.

HersheyKisses Hershey is also one of the MBF and always has great story times to share. The Arbor Day adoption at the Wee Ones Cartoon Dolls Committee is named after her.

Moon Child Moon Child is a great friend to all of us, and besides keeping us company and being someone we can talk to at DMessage Boards, she also shares with us her great talent with graphics and making people smile.

StormCloud I just recently met StormCloud, but she's a really sweet person, and it's too bad that she's just left the Wee Ones to become a Fairy because we needed all the spirit we could get. =) If she doesn't come back to see as at the Wee Ones forum, we'll drag her over and tie her to a tree. *EG*

Swanky Swanky, a.k.a. Terri or Medi, is another one of my MBF friends. She made us some friendship bracelets once (mine is at the bottom of this page), and she also taught me how to make the colored bubbly lines on this page! =)

Topaz Topie is a fellow MBF, wee one, and Atlantis team member. We love her for who she is, no moatter who she says she's scared of. =)
