Lickers

According to the video game, Resident Evil 2, these monsters were said to have 'sharp claws', 'a lance like tongue' and 'can cut a man easily in half'. This description makes the Licker, so unofficially titled by the police officers of Raccoon City as a dangerous monster of the Resident Evil world. They are however, not so tough.

According to other files the lickers were created by a human recieving a double dose of T-Virus, however this has not been proven.

There are two different types of the Licker, one is the normal and common red type, and the other is a darker colour and more powerful. In the movie, once the monster has eaten it will then transform into a bigger, faster more powerful form of monster.

The licker has three main forms of attacks, two of these use its sharp claws while the other uses its sharp tongue. The monster will crawl up and slash at the legs of its victim to bring it down. But if its sitting up it will be getting ready to use its toungue to attack.

Its final attack is a flying leap attack with its claws extended out ward towards the victim, this attack is only used when there is long distance between the monster and the victim.

To attack the monster, any long ranged attack works better to save recieving damage. Shotgun or Submachine Gun are the best availble to defeat this monster.
