Part Four

The phone rang, and Dorothy sat down her fork to pick it up.
"Hello?" she asked, swallowing her food.
"Dorothy, Dorothy," Hilde whispered, before turning away when Midii came in to grab a rifle,"Oh hi ma! It's me, 'Lena! Who says I never call?"
"Hilde! For Christ's sake where the hell are you? What's going on?"
Hilde saw Midii leave, and quickly lit a cigarette,"Alright dear friend, as usual, you've got us into deep shit here! First of all, the stupid guy got on the wrong bus! Now, I'm stuck in some fucking military complex!"
The midnight haired girl looked out of the doorway to see them tossing different kinds of large guns around, and winced.
"Do they know who you are?" Dorothy asked, resting her chin on her hand.
"No," Hilde said as if that was the stupidest question she had ever heard,"What do you think I'm gonna do? Go introduce myself to every cop in the pueblo? Oh, and another tid bit for you dear friend," Hilde looked outside again,"Guess who I ran into today?"
Dorothy stabbed her steak with her fork before answering,"Midii."
"Give the chick a cigar, you're God damn right Midii! She got into the car with me! Not only are we kidnappers, but I'm about to have a close encounter with a cattle prod."
"Is she with her army?"
"No, she's making due with the local yo-yo's..Oh no..."Hilde looked over at the wall with papers that had different criminals on them, seeing her own there. She quickly sat on the counter, leaning back to take it. She stopped and looked innocent when another officer entered, nervously looking around her.
"God damn it Hilde get me that map--"
"Don't yell at me Dorothy! You wanna kill me? Take me back to L2 and kill me, don't let me die in some jungle like a God damn snake!" Hilde whispered furiously, glaring at the phone.
"Hilde I don't care what you do!" Dorothy raged as Hilde leaned forward again to grab the paper,"Just get me that map!"
Dorothy hung up, and Hilde grabbed the paper, falling off of the counter in the process.
"Little brother took the wrong bus,"Dorothy sighed, cutting up a piece of steak. Iria shook her head, not wanting to eat anything.
"Oh, and that third party I told you about, she's tagging along,"Dorothy smirked at Iria's shocked face.
"The woman who killed my wife?"
"The butcher who killed your wife,"Dorothy corrected,"A very powerful woman with her own private army. And whether she calls herself Dr. Midii, or Colonel Midii, commander of the secret police, she's still, just, a butcher!"
Dorothy stabbed the steak infront of Iria, who paled and leaned away from it. The white blonde then threw the steak to two crocodiles on leashes next to them, and smirked.
"Look at those Schnappers will ya?"

The boy wiped some excess mud off of the yacht's photo before folding it up again. He then stood and looked over to see Quatre bent over a fallen tree, and he looked like he was throwing up.
"What's the matter are you sick or something?" he asked, and Quatre looked up.
"Uh, no,"Quatre straightening and looking at his pale pink shirt,"I lost a button."
"A button?"
Quatre nodded and tried to straighten his shirt, only to have it rip. Now the part that used to button up hung open, and bared his creamy chest,"A button..."
"You're gonna lose a lot more than that," the boy sighed, though leaned over a little to get a better look.
"Do you mind?" Quatre glared at the boy, who automatically looked away. Quatre rolled his eyes and bent down to pick up his backpack when gunshots hit the tree he had been infront of. The green eyed boy ran and tackled him to the ground, moving him behind a rock. Quatre blushed slightly at the contact before trying to get a look at the people who were shooting.
"Damn it,"the boy cursed,"What the hell do they want? I haven't done anything lately."
Midii and the cops stood at the top of the slope before Quatre and the boy, and she was barking out orders to them. They continued shooting at them, and the boy reached for his backpack to get some binoculars.
The brunette put them to his eyes and slowly lifted his head from the rock, to see a close up of Midii. She held up her hand gun and fired, the boy ducking again to avoid it.
"What did I do..?"he then looked over at a nervous Quatre,"What a minute...She's after you! Who the hell are you?"
"W-Well I'm a...a R-Romance...N-Novelist,"Quatre looked up at the blonde and the little army she had brought.
"A what? What the hell are you doing here?"
"I told you! My sister's life depends on me!"
"Oh don't give me that shit! I thought you were donating a kidney or something,"the boy ducked when another shot came close to him, before back up with the binoculars. The men had tied ropes to their jeeps and were climbing down to get them.
"Shit...this may be a good time to run," the boy murmured before throwing on his backpack. He then started running off in the opposite direction of the cops, and Quatre got up to follow him.
"Wait!" he cried, chasing after the brunette.
"Deal's off!" the boy yelled, running faster. Midii and company were now chasing after them, guns in hands, yelling in Spanish.
The two ran until they came to a forest of bright green plants, and the green eyed boy pulled out his machete and started slicing through them.
"Angel you are bad luck,"he cursed, making his way through the plants,"What? Did you wake up this morning and think 'hey, I'm gonna ruin a man's life today'?"
Midii looked all around her, before signaling for them to make their way through the forest too.
"Do you have any idea where you're going?" Quatre asked as he pushed aside a long green leaf.
"Looks like some sort of trail,"the other replied, still cutting his way.
"This is a trail?!"
Midii pushed aside the bushes and kept moving, barking commands to her soldiers.
The boy desperately continued to slice through the plants as he ran, until suddenly there weren't anymore. He yelped, stumbled forward, and almost fell off the cliff, managing to grab a vine and steady himself. Quatre came out after him, crying out in surprise.
The cliff was very deep, and had a raging river at the bottom. The cliffs were jagged and could probably damage someone if they happened to hit any part of it.
"You are a jinx!"the boy yelled and Quatre winced.
"What about the bridge?" he asked quietly, pointing to a rickety thing that crossed to the other side, and saw the boy heading there already. He followed silently, scared to make the other more angry.
"That's no bridge,"the boy cursed,"It's a damn Greek Colombian Architecture, you can't get across on that."
They heard yelling, and saw movements in the plants.
"Aw shit. Alright,"Quatre saw him pull his gun out,"I'll have to hold them off. You stay *right* behind me."
Quatre looked at the cursing boy as they hid behind a rock. He then saw the bridge, and looked back and forth between the two. He then slipped over to the bridge, and cautiously put a hand on one of the diagonal pillars that kept it together.
"Damn it,"the brunette hissed,"I knew I should've listened to my sister."
Quatre slowly put one foot on the planks going across the bridge, and then the other. He looked down nervously at the raging river below, and then closed his eyes. He opened them again and bit his lip, slowly moving to the next plank.
"I could have been a cosmetic surgeon,"the other boy rambled, loading his gun,"five million a year, and up to my neck in tits and ass."
Quatre whimpered slightly when he heard the plank creak, and grabbed a nearby branch. He moved his foot over the wide gap between the plank he was standing on and the next one, his lip bleeding from biting down so hard. He heard the army coming closer, and looked down again, before moving completely to the next step.
"I hope you're taking notes, little one,"the boy aimed his gun,"'Cause you've got a real, live, Youji right here."
Quatre grabbed onto a vine, and moved to the next plank. It broke in half and he yelped, clutching the branch before putting his foot where it had been. He watched as the two pieces fell down and into the river.
"Romantic novelist my ass,"the boy cursed as he was trying to get a good look at the people making their way towards them.
Quatre was trembling as his foot felt the next plank to make sure it was sturdy. He then moved onto that one, and then the next. The blond grabbed a nearby vine to help him. Suddenly the plank under him broke. He tried to move to another one but stumbled, and he started to fall from the bridge.
Quatre screamed and held onto the vine for dear life as it swung towards the other side, nothing under him to secure him. His companion looked back at the cliffs to see the blond swinging like Tarzan across the opening between them.
The vine swung Quatre to the other side, and he fell on his butt with a thump. He looked around and grabbed his backpack, pulling out the little drink he had stored. The blond tried to open it desperately, but the cork wouldn't come out.
"Holy shit,"the brunette stared in disbelief when he saw Quatre make it, and looked at the approaching cops. The boy shot a few times to scare them, hoping to buy himself some time. He then grabbed a vine himself and jumped, swinging across. Only he didn't do as well as Quatre. The boy slammed into the side of the other cliff, almost crushing his nose.
The green eyed boy wiped his bleeding nose before attempting to climb up. He slid down some, and looked down at the deadly river far below. He then climbed up, clawing at whatever he could find.
When the brunette found Quatre, the blond was drinking the small amount of liquid in the bottle he had. The boy snatched it from him, reading the label.
"Drinking?" he growled,"I almost died and you're drinking?!"
He then chugged down the rest, before gun shots were fired at them. He ran into the bushes before them, a tired Quatre following with a quiet,"Wait."
Midii looked at them from the other side, and glared. She then signaled for them to go back.
