Part 3: The Beginning of The New Relena


Heero’s mind was trying to go through everything. ‘Relena wouldn’t run
away, no, it’s a trick, but why do I care? I think watching Quatre’s soap
operas poisoned my mind. I have to find her, if I find her maybe I’ll get
an answer to my problems’. And with that last thought he headed
towards the kitchen.

Relena walked into the bar slowly. The woman on the phone had said to
wear something ‘wild’ which to her meant ‘mildly sluttly clothes with
animal print. So she had worn a pair of tiger striped pants, a skin-tight
short sleeved black shirt that said in orange writing ‘kitty’,and finished it
off with black zip up boots. She was trying to keep her balance, being in
such tight clothes and heeled boots was very new to her, and she
wondered how anyone could stand this for more than an hour.
When she reached the bar counter a red-head walked out of the doors
behind it. Relena was overwhelmed by how red her hair was, it was like
blood. The girl was playing with her lighter, making flames come out
every once and a while.
“Are you Elen Craft?”she asked. Relena nodded.
“Good, you look pretty healthy, and have the right clothes, you may be
what we need. Jess!”she said. Then a girl with blonde hair in a ponytail
appeared behind her.
“Is Jen here?” the redhead asked.
“Uh, yeah just got here. Why Sarah?”
“We have our next bartender”, Sarah said. Jess looked at her.
“Cool, nice to meet you. I’m Jess”, she held out her hand. Relena took it
and said, “Hi I’m Elen.”
Sarah looked at her.
“Elen?”
“Yeah?”Relena said.
“Um, that name won’t work. You need a better name. Um, how
about........HA! I got it! How about Roxy!”she said.
“Uh, that’s okay I guess.” Relena shrugged. Sarah smiled and went into
the back. Jess climbed over the bar and sat next to her. Relena looked at
the girls outfit. She had a blue tubetop on that showed off her lower
stomach, and had on shiny blue leather pants and black boots to finish it
off.
“So Roxy, why’re you looking for a job?”
“Uh, I just moved here, and this looked like an awesome job”, she
replied. Jess smiled. The two girls conversed for several minutes until
Sarah came back out with a new girl.
“This is Jen. Jen that’s Roxy”, Sarah said. Jen hopped over the counter
similar to the way Jess had and looked at ‘Roxy’.
“She’ll do. No experiance?”Jen said. Relena shook her head. Jess and
Sarah walked into the back again, Jess was saying something about
playing with fire, and Sarah was ignoring her, still messing with her
lighter, making the flames grow bigger.
“You’ll start tomorrow. We’ll give you some stuff on everything so you
know what to do. Make sure that you learn it all. We’ll start with the
basics, and when you’ve got that down we’ll go to tricks. Got that?” Jen
asked. Relena nodded. Jen smiled.
“Don’t worry, you’ll like it here, and I know you’ll rock”,she assured
her. Relena pulled out a cigarette and lit it, to calm her nerves. Jen’s
smile grew wider.
“You’ll be perfect.”

“I still don’t think she ran away”,Dorothy said annoyed, “Miss Relena is
obsessed with peace. She wouldn’t abandon it like that.”
“I know she didn’t run away. She tells me everything. Once I was joking
around and said ‘why don’t you run away?’ She lectured me for an hour
on how she could never do that”, Sally lied as she walked into the room.
She wouldn’t give up Relena’s secret.
Noin sighed.
“It’s possible, and besides, if she was kidnapped, there would’ve been a
note or something right?”she said.
Sally was nervous. What if they found out? She would have to work hard
to keep Relena safe.

Relena walked into the bar, but now she was a bit more confident. She
had completely memorized all the notes and books. She had changed her
outfit, so they wouldn’t think that was the only ‘wild’ outfit in her
wardrobe. It had been, until she bought ten more today. Now it was Pink
leopard pants, with a short sleeved, skin tight, black shirt, along with her
black zip up boots from yesterday.Her hair was down, and it was so long
it reached her butt.
‘I can be a sexy bartender, I can walk in these shoes, I can breathe with
this shirt’, she thought.
Jess, Jen, Sarah, and another two girls walked out.
Jess was wearing black leather pants, a brown tubetop, and brown
leather boots, her hair in the same ponytail as before. Jen was wearing a
white tanktop with white tiger pants. Her chestnut brown hair was down,
and it reached her waist. Sarah wore blood red leather pants and a shirt
that had transparent sleeves, and was a reddish orange, her hair down
too, and it reached mid-back. One of the other girls wore a black three
quarter length shirt and grayish pants, skin tight like all the others. Her
white blonde hair was up in a bun, and had chopsticks in it, making a X.
Then there was the last girl. Her had wavy blue hair was down, and she
was clad in brown leopard pants, and a brown skin tight shirt, with a
matching leopard cowboy-like hat.
“Hey!” Jess greeted. Relena looked at the other two girls, and Jen said,
“Oh, this is Kate and Kat. Girls this is Roxy, who I told you about.” The
two girls shook hands with Relena.
“So, you know the shit in the books right?” Sarah said, lighting a piece of
paper with her lighter and smiling wickedly. Relena nodded. Jess
laughed.
“Come on Roxy say something!” she joked.
“Uh, can we get to showing me the basics or are you going to stare at me
forever?”Relena said, looking at the girls.
“Oh yeah, we have an hour to go, so let’s get to showing you everything”,
Jen said, pulling Relena behind the bar. When they were away from the
others, Relena whispered, “Uh is Sarah obsessed with fire or
something?” Jen laughed.
“You could say that, once she got pissed off at a customer and set him on
fire, she loves to see things burn”. Relena nodded, turning towards the
spot containing Coyote Pugly’s drinks. She looked at all the alchohol
dazed. She’d never had anything close to it before. Jen laughed at her
expression.
“You may have to have some if you don’t loosen up soon!” Relena looked
at her.
“I’ve never had any alcohol before!” she said. Jen looked at her like
she’d just grown two heads. She then smirked.
“Then tonight will be very interesting!” she yelled.

‘Thanks for all, and wish me luck! Love and such, Relena. Oh Relena, be
careful!’, Sally thought, then quickly deleted the e-mail, so no one would
find it. She got one once a week, it had been her one request to Relena.
A knock came from the door and Sally answered it with a simple, “Come
in”. Noin walked in, and sat next to her.
“I just can’t believe she’s gone”, Noin stressed, “Miliardo hasn’t slept
for days, and he decided to accuse the Gundam Pilots for Relena being
gone. I had to tie him to the bed, which usually isn’t a bad thing, but
today he’s just psychotic”.
“Maybe Relena’s kidnapper hasn’t decided what he wants yet, or maybe
he just wants a war”, Sally offered. Noin looked at her, a hint of
suspicion in her eyes.
“I think she ran away, that would explain why her fingerprints were on
the sheet, she probably had a long rope made of it, but the rest burned.
plus there hasn’t been any ransom, all the things we have point to her
running off”, Noin said.
“Whatever”, Sally snapped and walked out of the room. Noin looked at
her leaving form confused.
‘What’s up with her?’

Relena poured the beer into the glass in record time, spilling most of it.
She handed it to a man sitting at the bar, and he grunted a low,
“Ametuer”. Relena looked around frustrated, there were so many
people. This was harder than giving a lecture on peace. She walked down
a few feet to another person.
“What’ll it be?” she asked quickly, not sparing him a glance, her
attention on Jess flirting with a guy.
‘It’s so easy for her, maybe I should try it once’, she thought jokingly.
“Uh, I’ll have a Vodka Tonic”, the man said, and Relena scooted to the
end of the counter and turned to get the alcohol she needed.
‘Vodka, and, what was that again? Oh yeah! okay Relena, you can do
this.’ She mixed it together at the back, trying to throw a bottle in the
air, but it fell and shattered, causing her to fail miserably. She then just
poured it together and walked back down to him, and once she sat it
down looked up at him finally.
‘God he’s cute’,she thought, looking him over. He had messy dark brown
hair, emerald green eyes, and lightly tanned skin. He smiled at her,
showing his perfect white teeth.
“Do you always stare at you’re customers?”he asked amused. Relena
snapped out of it and blushed.
“Sorry, just, I have to say you’re the cutest guy here so far”, she said,
flirting for the first time. He laughed, and looked her up and down.
“And you’re the sexiest bartender so far. You new here?” Relena
nodded. ‘This guy’s way to good, cute, funny, well so far, not to mention
cute, wait, am I serious?’ she thought, suprised at her reactions.
“Well, what time do you get off?” he asked. Relena thought for a
moment.
“And you think because you’re cute I’ll go out with you?” she asked,
teasing him. He gave her sad puppy dog eyes.
“Please?”, he asked innocently. Relena held onto the bar for support.
“Uh, well, sure why the hell not? I get off at five”, she said, starting to
gain the feeling in her legs back. He smiled and nodded.
“I’ll be here”, he said, and handed her the money for the drink. He
walked into the crowd of guys and disappeared. Relena sighed dreamily.
‘So much for Heero’, she thought happily. She was then tackled by Jess.
“You flirt! Look at you, your first night and already you’re set for a
date. God girl, you’re better than me!” she yelled, getting off Relena.
Relena just nodded, and stood up. Then Sarah walked up to them.
“You have a call Jess, you’re landlord”, she said, before running off to
shutup a middle aged guy who was yelling at the top of his lungs. Jess
nervously went into the back to answer the phone.
Relena followed her, curious to what the landlord was going to say. She
listened to them from infront of the doors. Jess was yelling at her
landlord.
“You can’t do this to me! No! Fine you fat basterd screw you I’ll find
another place to live!” Jess yelled, hanging up the vid phone. She started
to cry, and Relena walked in to comfort her.
“Hey, it’s okay, if you want, you can live with me”, she offered, hugging
Jess.
“Really? You’re sure, because we’ve only known each other for a day,
you don’t have to invite me to be your roommate”.
“No, it’s fine, I trust you, and it’s not like we’re a couple or something.
Don’t worry about it!” Jess looked at her excitedly.
“Then meet your new roommate!!!!” she yelled, jumping up and down.
They both were jumping up and down happily, until Kate burst into the
back.
“I’m sure you’re having a good time and all, but it’s time!” she said,
panting. Jess nodded, and Relena gave them a weird look. Jess giggled.
“Don’t worry Roxy, you’ll watch tonight, and maybe in a week you’ll be
able to join us!” she yelled, pulling Relena out.
Relena saw Jen putting something into the tapeplayer, while Kat and
Sarah were quieting down the crowd. Jess, Kate, and Jen joined the two
and everything was silent for a moment, then suddenly music started
blaring out all over the bar. Relena stood in awe as Kat, Kate, and Jess
hopped on the bar and started dancing, much to the approval of the
crowd. But it wasn’t what you would think, they were dancing to the
music(You’re such a hentai),and Relena soon identified it as ‘The Devil
Went Down To Georgia’. Jen and Sarah opened two bottles of
Champaign and sprayed the crowd with it. Most of the men were
clawing at each other in a brawl to see the Bartender Beauties up close.
At the end, Sarah took out what looked something like a pipe, covered it
in gasoline, and pulled out a lighter. She lit it, and blew.A wave of heat
filled the bar, and everyone yelled as the flames flew up in the air.Then
there was cheering from all the men, and whining as the girls jumped
down. Relena was dumfounded through the whole ordeal.
When it was over Jess looked at Relena and laughed at her expression.
“Really Roxy, you look like you saw the devil! But don’t worry, maybe
someday you’ll join us!” Relena stood open mouthed at her.
“Do that?”she asked, “You’ve got to be kidding”. Jess was about to say
something but was interupted by the other girls.
“It’s time to get them out of this place”, Jen said. They nodded, and Kat
hopped over the bar and yelled, “Alright guys! Everyone get outta here!
Or else, we’ll call out the dogs!” Then Sarah, Jen, and Kate came out a
door at the very back of the bar with Dobermans. Most of the men ran
out through the door Jess had opened for them. But about five stayed.
“Gentlemen, leave, or we won’t hesitate to kick your asses!”Kat said,
walking up to them.
“Yeah right, a couple of pretty little sluts will make us leave! Don’t make
me kick YOUR ass kitten!”an ugly, bald, extremely obese man said to
her.
Kat looked down, smirked, and said, “Fine then have it your way, but
remember this, I may be a cat, but I ain’t no pussy!!” And with that she
punched him right in the nose, then swiftly kicked him in the groin. The
man crumpled to the ground, while the others ran out the door. Kat then
walked back to the bar counter and looked at Relena’s aghast face.
“Don’t worry, I’ll teach you someday”, she said, smiling. Relena smirked
and said, “I can’t wait.” Jess nudged her,saying,“It’s four fifty-nine,
better go outside and wait for that hot guy”, she winked. Relena blushed,
and then headed out the door.
Sure enough, there he was, waiting for her. He waved and ran up to her.
“Just so I know, what is your name?” Relena asked, curiously.
“Oh, we forgot that didn’t we? Well, I’m Gaven. You?”
“Roxy, well, to my friends atleast”.
“And to your dates?”
“Well, that’ll have to do until further notice”, she said amused.
“Well then, let’s go, I was thinking a diner down the road? It’s the only
thing open”,he said. She nodded, and they started to walk down the road
together.
