Subterranean Subterfuge: Will of the Wordsmith

3/F and Common Sense. FILE 115.

Much love to you people.

Kaya nga common sense, majority approves of it. But it doesn't follow that when everybody approves of it, it is right.

Bottoline: never ever be satisfied with the answer "it is common sense." Question it. If it really is substantial or logical or true, it will show. Always be critical of what you hear, read, or see. This way, you can avoid being a puppet of someone or something else.

 31 Days :) . FILE 114.

Some etymology lesson here.

Not anymore.

Kebs. Ayon nga sa natutunan ko sa kakasagot ng crossword ng Philippine Daily Inquirer, never think like the crowd if you want the crowd to follow you.

Not so much fuss needed. Dahil dapat araw-araw may fuss. Something like that.

 Bambam / Bamboo. FILE 113.

Isang araw habang nananahimik akong nag-iinternship (nakatunganga, in other words) sa JAM 88.3, may mga biglang dumating nang walang pasabi...

Siyempre, di niyo sila makikilala from here, lalo na't nakatalikod yung isa.

Walang pumapansin sa kanila before their interview. Wala.

Some excerpts:

DJ Claudine: "Have you ever thought of sharing the same stage with the other band (Rivermaya)?"

Bamboo: "Yeah, we already did, once. Tapos they cancelled all their gigs with us.

Nathan: "We were even daring them to perform with us, double stage set-up. Pero ayaw nila, di ko alam. They seem to be scared at us, must be the muscles." (note: before the interview, nagkukuwentuhan silang tatlo about their respective body-building)
Ira: "Haha"

After the interview:

Ako: Hey Bamboo, can I get your autograph?

Bamboo: Sure.

Ako: By the way, I'm Bambam.

Bamboo: Hindi nga? Baka goodtime lang yan kasi andito ako.

Ako: Bahala ka. Hehe.

Bamboo: Alright, Im'a put Bam-2-x there. Bamboo. Bam-2-x.

Of Buses and FXs. FILE 112.

It's been the weirdest stretch of my young life. And I've been trying to be objective ever since... since the Lantern Parade, the carolling, Destino, and all other major events that shaped up the second semester. No assumptions.

Until it came to a point it was stupid to keep ignoring what was apparent.

Readers, has it come to you that when you need a bus, there is none, and there is an abundance of FX? And when you need an FX, it is the other way around. Sometimes, people, we wish for something so hard, that we're trying too much. Sometimes the best way is the easy way, with a laid-back and relaxed outlook at whatever you're trying to do. Don't ever try to force things because things have a way of working out themselves on their own, mostly for the better.

Lennon and the others have been singing this truth for years already... "when I find myself in times of trouble..." and you know the rest.

And with that Keina, I've already updated my blog.
