You Can silence a peoples Existance
But you can never Change their heart
Without destroying their culture forever

   WARRIOR SONG

Look to the sun, moon and sky
This is where all our answers lie
  Words spoken meanings often misread
  Upon this Plane I live

I am the lonewolf alone that fights
  Until uselessness surrounds all
  For what is this life
  To say,to do,and to die

  Words spoken before battle
We light the fires of injustice that remain
  I will not be restrained
Life of the warrior is all I will ever know
Until all enemies lie at my feet
And their heads rest upon my spear

  I look into the sky
  As forefathers before me
Who is to say I live or die
But only at my own choosing
So Great spirit is this a good day to die

            THEIR LAST DAYS

Standing on a mountain looking into valleys below
Streams feeding vegetation
Rocky hillsides soaking up sun from another day
Coolness of the night resides after setting sun

Clouds gather for a storm
Pitch blackness of the sky
Lightning bolts that burst through the night
Soaking rain from a desert sky

Glancing out over a bank of clouds
Forming shapes impossible to read
Hear the hissing of the rocks
Being cooled off after a hot day

Finding large indentation in the rocks
Opening to a dark and foreboding cave
Stepping in for a extended stay
Praying any large animals have gone away

Lightning lights up the cave
Walls seem to come alive
civilizations of so long ago
Native americans who worshipped
Sun moon and the sky

Slowly although mezmerized I fall asleep
Dream of my people so long ago
When this was their land
Questions why they left is so hard to understand

Upon waking The light slowly fills
Realizing this is just one hill
To the many levels above
Where my people lived and loved

Climbing upon rocks to levels above
Discover the answers for the people who walked here before
Hundreds of bone scattered remains war items still hang
Site of a great massacre  only the wall is left
To tell of a peoples last days on earth
And the painful slaughter of Home family and life
While the calvary marched on

Out of the shadows they decend
Echoes of footsteps upon cobblestones
They reach out with deaths own hand
Blood stains the cobblestone
Only to drain in small pools

They search amoung your body
Finding nothing but a empty wallet
A few credit cards,family pictures
Whom you will never see again

So alas this is the price
For a wrong turn in life
Soon a body is found
Another crime
The Police will never solve
Him being a family man
Of no social importance

No press coverage, No fanfare
No political speaches of failure
Just a small funeral
In another part of town
A wife in grief,children without a father
All for the sake of a few credit cards
And the needle tracks upon their arms

   PIPERS SAD SONG

Hear the piper from far away
  Sound of his lonesome song
Where deep in woods he walks alone
His sad heart adds to his soft tone

  Single thoughts upon his mind
Cloud his reason within his time
His sound lies upon the windblown breeze
His sweetness echoes through the trees

  Slowly night begins to fall
  On his knees
  Wishes upon a falling star
Speaks of love words no one will hear
He exists only in shadows of dreams

  Sometime quietly late at night
When stars shine so very bright
You can hear the pipers song
  Echoeing through the land
So sad to spend eternity alone
No one of his kindred left
  To hear his sad  song

SENSELESS DEATH

Walking down a empty street
Eyes peering out of the darkness
Another victim walks slowly
Toward death
