| June 19, 2003- We have really good news! The doctor said that the 3 day EEG was normal even durning the seizures and immediately after the seizures. There was no abnormal brain activity even though I had two seizures during that time. This means that the seizures are not epiletic seizures which is good news. The doctor did an MRI of my spine to see if there were any white leizions in my spine like there were in my brain. The MRI was clear. YAY! The third important test was the spinal tap and testing the fulid from my spine. All of the test results were normal. She said if I had MS the brain would spill protien and other cells into the spinal fluid. That means there is a high chance I don't have MS. The doctor said she would have to follow my case over time to see if we can come up with any answers. At this point we are thinking positive and assuming there is no serious condition going on. Its been 2 weeks today since I've had a seizure. Only 5 and a half months until I can drive again. Thanks to all of you who have been praying for me. I feel that our prayers have been answered. :) YAY!!! :) | ||||
