Will Martinez covered drums for Glove Compartment, after Max Weinberg left the band. Will played a couple shows with GC, then went with them on their "Nowhere left to Suck" Tour in 1972. He was thought to be the permenant drummer for the band, as he showed no signs of leaving. Unfortunately, Will was busted for smuggling 437 Mexicans over the border of Mexico into the United States, in a Gremlin. He is currently serving a 220 year jail sentence in Los Angeles, where he was brought for trial for charges relating to earthquakes and frozen tundra. He hopes to get bail, but it is not likely, seeing as it as set as 4,576,890 pasos. Although that equals 12 dollars and 78 cents in American currency, which GC is almost certain to have, the members of Glove Compartment do not seem to be so quick to pay his bail. |
